2 DIRECTIONS Broomfield Gate / Private Entrance Leeds Castle is situated 7 miles east of Maidstone, Kent. 1. Leave the M20 at Junction 8 (Lenham A20) 2. Follow the brown and white tourist signs 3. At the third roundabout, go straight and IGNORE Leeds Castle sign-posted right via the B Proceed along the A20 towards Lenham for approximately one mile passing the Park Gate Inn and Leeds Castle Golf Course on your right. 5. Take the next turning right sign-posted Broomfield (Broomfield Road). 6. Approximately 100 yards along, turn right through the iron gates with a lodge house each side. 7. A member of staff will direct you to the appropriate car park. BROOMFIELD GATE

3 ENTERING & LEAVING THE ESTATE Please enter/leave the estate via the private entrance on Broomfield Road (Broomfield Gate). Please ensure you give your name to security or via the intercom to the right of the barrier upon entry and return. Please vacate your bedroom before 10am on your day of departure. GOLF COURSE Leeds Castle golf course is a 9-hole, par 34, 2843 yard course built in 1931 by Sir Guy Campbell. If you would like to play golf during your visit please call +44 (0) Club and trolley hire available; hot meals and refreshments are served in the Clubhouse. The golf course is only accessible from the A20 entrance. 8 TERMS & CONDITIONS The Hon. Olive, Lady Baillie, an Anglo-American heiress, was the last private owner of Leeds Castle.The castle was her lifelong love and she ensured that after her death in 1974 the castle, managed by the Leeds Castle Foundation,should be enjoyed by visitors from all over the world. We aim to keep Leeds Castle as a living Castle rather than a museum therefore we welcome guests to stay in our bedrooms on site. Leeds Castle s bedrooms offer character and luxury for modern day guests but please note some rooms have steep stairs, sloped floors and low ceilings. Due to the age of the buildings on the castle estate, some structures and fittings may not have all modern safety and design features. Leeds Castle Foundation is a charity which receives no funding from the Government. All profits go to the upkeep of the Castle and Grounds. Leeds Castle Enterprises is unable to reserve accommodation for clients. Accommodation can only be confirmed with full payment at the time of booking. The maximum occupancy of any double or twin room is two persons unless sold as a family room when the maximum capacity is two adults and two children. The maximum capacity for our single room is one person. Some of our twin / double rooms have space for a Z-bed suitable for a child for an additional charge of 50. We have a small number of travel cots available which can be booked in advance of your stay. An additional charge of 25 per cot including bed linen applies. Either must be requested at the time of booking your stay. Any evidence of over occupancy will result in a levy of 100 per person being placed on the credit card used to make payment for the accommodation. Smoking is not permitted in any of the venues or bedrooms on the estate and is strictly prohibited on the Castle Island. If evidence of smoking is found in the bedrooms or venues, a penalty charge of 200 will be charged to the credit card provided by the client. Check-in time for overnight guests is from 2pm Check-out time is 10am. Failure to vacate bedrooms by this time will result in a penalty payment of 140, which will be charged to the credit card provided by the client. Reception is open until 8pm (October - March) / 9pm (April - September)* every day, after this time you will be assisted to your room by our night security staff. Full English breakfast is served in the Castle View Restaurant between 8.00am 10am. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify the Hospitality team at least 14 days prior to your check in time to qualify for a full refund; this does not apply to advanced purchase and non-refundable bookings. Guests booking through an external agent must notify the agent directly. Any cancellations made after this time will not receive a refund. Our evening restaurant is open 7 days a week, but can be booked out for private events. Please call to check availability and book a table. Please be aware that we are a venue that hosts evening functions and events, therefore one may be taking place during your stay. On these occasions the evening dining will not be available. Leeds Castle cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of personal items or vehicles. Please note that wheel-based toys for children are not permitted on the Leeds Castle Estate.
