A Natural Wall can be delivered planted up with mature plants which are adapted to their future location. Delivery without plants is, of course, also possible, with sound planting advice, if required. Standard Natural Wall units can be delivered by any professional interior plantscaper or plant specialist. These units are available in the colour black. You can also choose to have the units covered with stainless-steel or aluminium plating in any RAL colour desired by you or your client. Always greenery in the right size The big advantage of the Natural Wall is its modular construction. This means that you, as an architect, interior designer or interior plantscaper, can adapt the dimensions to suit every location on the basis of the dimensions of the basic units. If circumstances require, any other sizes can be delivered, too. The construction of walls that have to be many metres in height and width is not even a problem! In the case of large-scale projects, it is important that you consult a good adviser at an early stage. You will then be able to anticipate the possibilities for installing a central watering unit with pipework for the supply and drainage of water in good time, without this entailing extra costs. The Natural Wall can also be connected directly to the water mains. The Natural Wall is made from HDPE plastic and is therefore an extremely durable product. The use of this plastic ensures that our walls have a long life, besides which, the plastic is 100% recyclable. Watering without a hassle The convenience of users (office employees and residents) has already been taken into account in the design of the Natural Wall. You only have to water the plants once every two to four weeks, depending on the location and the type of plants concerned. Watering can be carried out manually or semi-automatically. In the first case, it is impossible to overwater the plants or splash water about because the Natural Wall is equipped with an intelligent overflow system. The wall only has to be supplied with water at a single easily accessible spot. Once the lowest unit has had sufficient water, the entire wall has also had enough. This is easy to ascertain. The risk of too much water is therefore practically excluded. It is even easier if you have a semi-automatic watering system installed. The water is pumped up from the water basin to the topmost unit and the whole system fills itself through the overflow system. Again, it is not possible to give the plants too much water. Precisely those plants which match your interior The Natural Wall is very flexible when it comes to the type of plants you can use. As an interior architect, you can therefore coordinate the wall perfectly with the colours of the interior or the required structure. Your supplier will be able to give you professional recommendations on the plant species that are suitable for the location in mind. Light and atmospheric humidity are important factors here. The plants used are cultivated in soil and subsequently planted in Seramis, a natural granulate, in the Natural Wall. There is a separate reservoir of water, which is sufficient for a certain period, at the bottom of every unit. In the case of new construction, it is also worthwhile taking into account extra structural provisions in the design stage. This might be necessary in the case of suspended or extra high walls. If, for example, you want to locate a Natural Wall in a spot with little or no light, you can opt for built-in lighting in the design. A specially designed pot, which can be automatically irrigated, is pressed into each of these openings. The frames are equipped with a small ball and socket and are connected to one another by means of a ball and socket hinge connector. These flexible connections can be used to form decorative stand-alone walls or objects. This connecting system can also be used to connect the frames and carriers, with great precision, to a wall. Every plant grows in its own pot with its own water supply. If necessary, individual plants can also be given special nutrients or soil. This means that the architect can truly indulge him/herself as regards the choice of plants, besides which, plants can easily be replaced once they have finished blooming or if other plants are required. Bespoke A metal lattice with a special mounting bracket is affixed to the wall that is to be used as a base. The plant pots in this system are specially finished and are fitted to the lattice by small hooks. Every pot is watered by means of drip irrigation and offers the plants enough room to grow. The pots can be easily removed from the wall by hooks and planted individually. New plants and an assortment of plant varieties can therefore be easily grown. In this way, the creativity of the landscape architects knows no limits! Modular The green wall is constructed out of several plastic frames. The frames (16cm X 80cm) have 5 openings to put plant pots into. Depending upon the desired amount of plants, several frames can be uniformly added together by means of an interlocking system. Various types of surface can be created through flexible connections. Special mountings affix these frames to outdoor and indoor walls. Drip irrigation ensures the most effective supply of water. Each plant pot can be individually planted and arranged, offering landscape architects a multitude of possible combinations with which to create an extraordinary experience for the client.
