General Park Impressions: The park is maintained better than others but is starting to show wear. Interior roads and parking lots are in bad condition and softball fields need to be completely renovated. Tennis courts are used by school district and are sub standard for competitive play. Accessibility Level: Good access with paved parking and paved trails that are accessible for disabled. Has good visibility off of Adams Dairy Parkway.

Shelter size is 30 X 64 with grills, trash cans, water fountain, lighting and electrical service. 1. Shelter house is original and has is in good condition. 2. Concrete floor is even and has minor micro cracking occurring. 3. Picnic tables are constructed in house and does not provide the image desired. 4. Trash cans are 55 gal. barrels, while very functional, it does not provide the image desired. 5. The grill is rusted and is in need of repair/replacement 1. Strip and re-seal shelter house wood and touch up paint on metal post. 2. Replace BBQ grill. 3. Purchase new picnic tables. 4. Replace trash barrels with receptacle type. Estimated Repair / Replacement Cost $25,000 2 Picnic Tables Aluminum in-house built tables used by residents for meals and gatherings. 1. Tables are built using bleacher seating cut-down to required lengths. 2. Appearance is not appealing and not the standards of todays park amenities. 1. Trash cans are a 55 gal. drum painted with no lids 2. Appearance is not appealing. 3. With no lids animals get into the containers and scatter trash. 1. Replace all trash barrels with appropriate trash receptacles. 22 Trash Cans - $29,700

Windscreen is torn. 2. Fence is rusted and bowed. 3. Major cracking occurring even after patching has been done. 4. Limited seating for spectators asphalt cap exist on courts. 1. Grade of the outfield shows depressions, and high spots 2. Outfield grass has uneven coverage and displays weeds. 3. Foul poles are leaning and paint is dull. 4. Fence has gaps, bowed, leaning and fabric is mangled in spots. 5. Infield material is difficult to work and dry. 6. Infield is low and needs to be regraded. 7. Lighting is sub standard with old bulbs and wooden poles. 8. Net barrier behind fields is falling and has holes in net. 1. Courts need renovation with post tension concrete potential for total replacement. 2. Color coating and striping is needed. 3. Replacement of fence with black vinyl coated material. 4. Develop better spectator seating for matches. 5. Windscreen will be replaced in spring of Re-grade outfield to improve drainage. 2. Replace infield material with a material that dries quickly and requires less maintenance. 3. Re-place all fence materials with black vinyl coated fencing. 4. Replace/paint foul poles 5.
