Summerland House Farm is a leading agri-tourism destination located on the Alstonville plateau in the heart of Northern NSW s tropical Hinterland. It is set amongst beautiful tropical gardens within the grounds of Summerland House Farm s 69 hectare working macadamia and avocado farm.

3 The Summerland House Farm Cafe and Function Centre specialises in all kinds of events including conferences, weddings, corporate presentations, product launches, private functions, birthday parties, cocktail parties and seasonal festivities. Every event is tailored to suit your needs. The function centre is an easy 15 minute drive from Ballina Airport, 20 minute drive from Lismore Airport, and a 35 minute drive to Byron Bay.

4 A state-of-the-art conference centre, catered to suit your every need. The Summerland House Farm Cafe and Function Centre offers exceptional facilities for a wide range of events. From a simple function to a gourmet banquet our team will work with you to ensure that your expectations are met. KITCHEN COURTYARD AREA 1 STAFF ONLY RESTAURANT & FUNCTION ROOM 1 FUNCTION ROOM 2 COURTYARD AREA 3 Our conference and function centre caters for up to 200 people depending on set up. Two function rooms are available and can be combined or used separately depending on the event. For inside dining, a maximum of 170 people may be seated comfortably. Conference style set ups can accommodate up to 230 people when combining both rooms, while Function Room 2 used on its own, can comfortably accommodate 100 people theatre style and seat 78 people for dining. There are three courtyard areas around the function centre that can seat people comfortably and marquees can be added to the garden s grassed areas. As part of the House with No Steps organisation, we are one of the leading providers of employment and support for people with a disability. We are also one of the largest agricultural establishments on the North Coast, with a working avocado and macadamia farm and the distribution hub for regional produce. Currently, Summerland House Farm provides employment and training opportunities for over 80 people with a disability. These areas of employment and business include Office Administration, Avocado and Macadamia Nut Farming, Macadamia Dehusking, Tropical Fruit Packing, Agriculture, Garden Maintenance, Restaurant and Hospitality services, Retail Nursery and Tourism. Our organisation s vision is for inclusive communities which respect, value and empower all people with a disability. 6 BREAKOUT ACTIVITIES A range of breakout activities can be enjoyed by staff and colleagues whilst visiting Summerland House Farm. Macadamia and Avocado Plantation Tours Educational Presentations Watts Cottage Museum Mini Golf, Playground and Water Spray Park Summerland House Farm is the agricultural hub for the Northern Rivers region. Guests can enjoy a tractor tour of the macadamia and avocado orchards and gain an insight into this diverse local industry. **2008 Winner of the Ballina Excellence Awards in Agribusiness Our educational presentations are designed to give guests and colleagues an understanding of Summerland House Farm and the House With No Steps organisation, and its commitment to providing employment and community services to people with a disability. Watts Cottage Museum was created to recognise the work of Lionel & Dorothy Watts (the co-founders of HWNS) and Lionel s battle to create equal opportunities for people with disabilities. Their ultimate goal was to enable people with disabilities to reach their potential and lead productive and satisfying lives. This 9 hole Mini Golf course is a great breakout activity or icebreaker for your corporate meeting. Whilst the water park and playground are ideal to entertain children at your function.

The Gift Shop has many unique ornaments, jewellery and keepsakes to suit all tastes. Pick-your-own tomatoes and strawberries. Our Hydroponic growing systems on site demonstrate modern food technology. Seasonal activity. Gather your own farm fresh eggs from our happy free range chickens. Learn about our sustainable processes for our happy chooks. The Grocer showcases a range of fresh, local fruit and vegetables selected from farms throughout the region.
