Scarborough Park Concession Stand and Restroom: Item #1 Item #2 Item #3 Item #4 Item #5 Item #6 Sheet C-2: Contractor shall provide all necessary erosion control for duration of project. Project size does not require a SWPPP or NOI be prepared, however, care should be taken to prevent sediment discharge during construction. Sheet A-1: The Architectural Floor Plan remove the D with the arrow referring to an interior elevation. There is no interior elevation of that wall. Sheet A-1: Legend Item 16, Dry Storage Shelves. Four tier shelves to be constructed from ¾ inch plywood and 2x4 s attached to wall. Paint and provide shop drawing with millwork. Sheet A-4: North West Elevation, remove the concrete steps note. Sheet A-4: 4 octagon shaped gable vents shown on the building elevations, to be urethane, painted to match the siding, 18 x18, functional with insect screen. Purchase at architecturaldepot.com. Sheet S-2: Under Building Earthwork Operations, Note 2. The existing site soils may have a PI greater than 10 and still be used under the new building as fill material. Any imported fill must have a PI of 15 or less. All fill materials should be moisture conditioned and compacted.

Sheet E-1: Lighting Plan: Light fixture D is incorrectly noted on the power plan to be fed from breaker A-23. All fixtures D shall be fed from breaker B-7 as noted on the lighting plan. Sheet E-1: Lighting Plan: Power Plan: The switch with a dashed leader in Scorekeeper Room is to be deleted. Sheet E-1: Power Plan: The junction box in the scorekeeper room for the P.A. system shall be routed to breaker A-21 if a P.A. duplex outlet is required. Sheet E-1: Power Plan: Window A/C, Electric Fryer & Electric Griddle are correctly shown on the plan to be 240v, 1 phase GFI circuits. Water heater to be 240v, 1 phase non GFI circuit. Water heater means of disconnect shall be a plug and receptacle. A 120V convenience outlet is not required for the water heater. Sheet E-1: An exterior main disconnect switch is not required Sheet E-2: Electrical Riser Diagram: circuit from the meter to the electrical gutter to be a 400 amp, 120/240v, 1 phase, circuit. Circuit shall be 2 sets of (2) 3/0 phase conductors, (1) 3/0 neutral and 1 #6 ground in 3 rigid conduit. Sheet E-2: Load Center B : Circuit B-19,21 for water heater shall be a 240v circuit on a 30 amp breaker. Item #15 Sheet E-2: Provide the standard 22,000 to 10,000 AIC rating for the two new Square D, QO Load Centers. Item #16 Item #17 Item #18 Item #19 Sheet P-1: Water plan: PVC is allowed for the new 1-1/2 inch buried water line into the building. All other water lines shall be copper type L. Sheet P-1: Provide a ball valve shut off on the new 1-1/2 inch PVC line into the building with-in 12 inches of the floor. Use copper type L from the valve upward. Directly above this ball valve provide a tee fitting with a 1 inch valve which can be opened to drain and winterize the plumbing system. Sheet P-1: Base Bid Sewer Plan: Provide 4 eccentric plug valve by Dezuric on sewer line entering the building at the existing clean out. Provide a 6 PVC riser approximately 18 deep with a East Jordon model no. 70 short cast iron valve box and mount flush with concrete sidewalk. Provide in alternate #1 bid also. Sheet P-1-Sewer Plan: Grease trap shall be installed within 6-0 from building. The
3 grease trap shall be vented at the 4 sewer line in the exterior building concrete block wall with a 2 PVC vent to the roof. Vent grease trap according to 2012 International Plumbing Code. Item #20 Item #21 Item #22 Sheet P-1: Hand sink (HSK) shall have stainless steel splash shields installed on both sides of the hand sink, height must be as high as the tip of the faucet. Sheet P-1: In lieu of what is specified on the plans the three compartment Sink (KS3) shall be Advanced Tabco FC RL with wash boards on both sides. Sheet P-2: Electric Water Heater Schedule: water heater wattage is incorrectly noted as 2500 watts. Water Heater wattage shall be 4500 watts. Item #23 Item #24 The City of Abilene Fire Department has additional requirements shown for Scarborough. See the attached document from the Fire Department and provide items requested. At Scarborough Park provide floor mounted, overhead braced, toilet partitions of powered coated steel by ASI Global or equal. Color selected by Architect. Lake Kirby Park Softball Fields Restroom Addition: Item #1 Item #2 Item #3 Item #4 Item #5 Sheet A-1: Demo Plan: Remove all existing toilet partitions from existing restroom. Sheet A-1: Floor Plan: Provide new toilet partitions for all toilets in existing restroom and new restroom, provide toilet partitions per keyed note #6 on sheet A-1. Sheet A-1: Note 16:1x2 led fixture shall be Metalux SWLED-LD4-28HL-LW-UNVl835 with photo cell included and to be surface mounted and centered under roof. Sheet A-2: Use split face integral colored CMU by Feather Light, color to be western tan in lieu of ribbed integral colored CMU. Typical at all locations noted on plans and elevations. The following comments and corrections are provided to assist the proponent. 1. Post address in a manner clearly visible from above-named street. Numerals shall be a minimum of four inches tall and ½-inch stroke, installed on a contrasting background. 2. Provide NO SMOKING signage at each entrance. Signs shall have either bold lettering of not less than 1 inch in height with the language No Smoking, or the international No Smoking symbol, a pictorial representation printed in red of a burning cigarette in a circle with a bar across it. City Code Section Portable fire extinguishers shall be provided as indicated below. Mount ABC type dry chemical fire extinguishers in accessible locations as needed to maintain a maximum travel distance of 75 feet from all areas of the building to an extinguisher. Extinguishers shall have a minimum rating of 2-A, 10-B:C and/or a minimum capacity of five pounds. Mount a Class K rated extinguisher within thirty feet of cooking appliances that are protected by a venthood fire extinguishing system. 4. An UL 300 automatic fire extinguishing system is required for a Type I vent-hood. Installation requires the permission of the Fire Department.
5 Note- Following comments are based on cursory review. Final review and acceptance of automatic fire extinguishing system proposal shall be based upon fire extinguishing system contractor s submittal. Activation of fire extinguishing system shall cause the shut-off of fuel and/or power for all appliances under vent-hood. Activation of fire extinguishing system shall cause the shut-off of makeup air supply to vent-hood. Exhaust ventilation shall continue to operate upon activation of fire extinguishing system. Natural gas and/or electric utilities shall be in service for all protected appliances at time of extinguishing system acceptance test. Contact Fire Prevention at least 24 hours in advance to witness tests and inspect installation. Fire extinguishing system shall be designed and installed in accordance with Abilene Fire Code, NFPA and State of Texas rules and regulations. Submit 3 sets of drawings, manufacturer s equipment specifications, and a Fire Department permit application to the Fire Prevention Division for review. Fixed fire extinguisher systems other than pre-engineered systems must be planned by a Type PL licensee or State of Texas licensed Professional Engineer. At least one set submitted for review shall bear an original stamp. All submittals shall be reviewed and a fire permit issued prior to start of any work on fire extinguishing system. Fire permit and Fire Department stamped drawings shall be at job site during all work related to fire extinguishing system. Fire protection contractors licensed for such work by the State of Texas shall perform all fire extinguishing system work.
