Due to Fire Hazard Sold Exclusively at True Value Hardware Stores WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: Brookfield Entry Way Tree Sets Units: About 1,000 Importer: General Foam Plastic Corp., of Norfolk, Va. Hazard: The battery box that power lights on the artificial wreath can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received 12 reports of battery boxes overheating and being warm to the touch after batteries were installed. No injuries have been reported. Description: This recall involves Brookfield entry way decorating sets which include two green artificial 48-inch (4 ft.) trees in black metal vases, one green 24-inch wide wreath and one green 9-foot long garland. The wreath has battery-powered white lights. The trees and the garland plug into wall outlets. True Value, True Value Item # and UPC code are printed on the product s box. Sold exclusively at: True Value Hardware stores nationwide during November 2011 for about $40. Manufactured in: China Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to True Value for a full refund. Play it safe by checking if your cold weather-related products have been previously recalled before you use them this season. It could save your life or that of your family. Product Recall Press Release Hazard Photo Meijer Touch Point Oscillating Ceramic Heaters (13,000 units) The oscillating mechanism in the heaters can short out, posing a fire hazard to consumers. Flow Pro, Airtech, Aloha Breeze & Comfort Essentials Heaters (2.2 million units) The heaters can malfunction resulting in overheating, smoking, burning, melting and fire. Lasko Portable Electric Heaters (107,500 units) An electrical connection in the base of the unit can overheat, causing it to melt and expose the electrical connection, posing a fire hazard to consumers. Honeywell Electric The thermostats can overheat,

Name of product: O-Grill Portable Gas Grills Units: About 4,530 Manufacturer: Uni-O (Xiamen) Industries Corporation of Xiamen, China Hazard: The regulator on the grill can leak gas which can ignite, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers. Incidents/Injuries: Uni-O has received 10 reports of grills catching fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported. Description: This recall involves Iroda O-Grill models 1000 and 3000 produced before Some were also sold under the Tailgating Gear brand. Both models are lightweight, portable, clamshell-type propane grills with steel bodies, cast iron cooking surfaces, retractable legs and a handle. They can be used with either 1-pound propane cylinders or 20-pound propane tanks. The grills come in orange, red, green, blue, silver and black and have the words "O-Grill" stamped on the metal grill cover. Recalled O- Grills do not have ventilation slots in the regulator cover where the propane bottle screws in. Grills with ventilation slots in the regulator cover are not subject to the recall. Sold by: LL Bean, Stoneman, BBQG, Walgreens, REI, Dillards and Dick's Sporting Goods nationwide from November 2008 through December The O-Grill 1000 sold for $149 and the O-Grill 3000 sold for $189. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: 6-pc. LED Flashlight Sets Units: About 55,000 Importer: Target Corporation, of Minneapolis, Minn. Hazard: When turned on, the flashlights can heat up, smoke or melt, posing fire and burn hazards. Incidents/Injuries: Target has received reports of four incidents with the flashlights, including two minor burn injuries to consumer's hands. Description: This recall involves 6-pc. LED Flashlight Sets. They are made of silver plastic with black rubber around the handle and light base. The flashlight sets have UPC code printed on the back of the package. They were sold in sets of six, including two small flashlights measuring about 3 inches long, two medium flashlights about 6 inches long and two large flashlights about 7 1/2 inches long. Sold exclusively at: Target stores nationwide from October 2010 through December 2011 for about $10 per set.
