4 Douche to wash anus 1 Scope This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection, marking, packaging, storage, transport and operation instructions of the douche to wash anus (hereinafter referred as the douche). This Standard applies to douche to wash anus used in collocation with pedestal pan in toilet. 2 Normative references The articles contained in the following documents become part of this Standard when they are quoted herein. For the dated documents so quoted, all the modifications (excluding corrections) or revisions made thereafter shall not be applicable to this Standard. For the undated documents so quoted, the latest editions shall be applicable to this Standard. 5 Performance of toilet cover and seat ring shall comply with JC/T , in addition to mechanical strength (including the opening/closing test, slow-fall life-span test, static load, etc.) Safety performance Safety performance shall comply with the requirements of GB ; in which the requirements on mechanical strength, reliability and structure shall be replaced with those specified in , and Mechanical strength Strength of seat ring After the test specified in , the douche shall have no crack, breakage, deformation, disconnection and other abnormalities Strength of toilet cover After the test specified in , the douche shall have no crack, breakage, deformation and other abnormalities Reliability After the test specified in , all parts of the douche shall run normally Structure a) The douche shall be able to be installed on pedestal pan specified in GB 6952; b) In maintenance and repair, all parts shall be easy to remove, replace. Under normal service condition and good maintenance management, the douche shall have good durability without leakage; c) Nominal diameter of inflow port of the douche shall be DN15 or DN20, and connecting thread shall be G1/2 or G3/4 ; d) The douche shall be equipped with anti-dry heating equipment; e) For the douche with water tank heated, it shall be installed with non-operational drainage device; f) Location of nozzle shall meet the requirements of washing, and it shall also meet the requirement that it shall not be tainted by falling dirt under normal service condition, and it shall also have self-cleaning function. 7 Test method 7.1 Test conditions Test conditions of douche shall comply with the following provisions: Page 8 of 18

6 7.8 Test of water impact prevention performance Under normal service condition of the douche, fill the device with water, as shown in Figure 2, with water at hydrodynamic pressure of 0.15MPa (as indicated on pressure machine 1) for 30s, then quickly turn off water-valve mechanism of the douche, and measure pressure at this point (as indicated on pressure machine 2). Range of pressure gauge: 0-2MPa, 0-2.5MPa or 0-3.5MPa. Figure 2 Water impact performance test device 7.9 Performance of backflow prevention Mount backflow prevention device of douche at the position as shown in Figure 3, apply Pa pressure at outlet of backflow prevention device, and then observe the backflow of backflow prevention device after 1min. Figure 7 Strength test of toilet cover Reliability test After passing the test specified in , douche shall be tested for a total of cycles, of which each cycle is consisted of - the anus washing for 15s, local washing for 15s, and warm-up drying for 30s. The appearance quality shall be checked and tested for withstanding the electric strength, after the test is completed Structure The nominal diameter of douche water inlet is measured by the graduated caliper with accuracy of 1mm, while other items are checked visually. 8 Inspection 8.1 Inspection classification The inspection is classified into exit-factory inspection and type inspection. 8.2 Exit-factory inspection Exit-factory inspection items are shown in Table Type inspection Type inspection item Type test items are shown in Table Type inspection shall be conducted in case of one of the following conditions: a) When the new products are verified for its trial-manufacture and final design; Page 15 of 18

8 Performance of water pressure resistance 6.6 A Performance of water impact prevention 6.7 A Performance of backflow prevention 6.8 A Performance of negative pressure 6.9 A Toilet cover and seat ring 6.10 A Related items in GB A Safety Strength of seat ring A performance Strength of toilet cover B Reliability A Structure A Note: Only "Leakage current and electric strength" in GB shall be the exit-factory inspection item. 9 Marking, packaging, storage, transport and operation instructions 9.1 Marking Product markings shall include at least the following contents: a) Product name and type; b) Name and trademark of the manufacturer; c) Rated voltage or rated voltage range, unit: volt (V); d) Rated frequency or rated frequency range, unit: hertz (Hz); e) Rated power, unit: watt (W); f) IP code of waterproofing grade. 9.2 Packaging Upon inspection, the qualified product packaging shall meet relevant provisions of GB/T 1019; exit-factory inspection certificate, operation instructions, attachments, warranty card, maintenance record card and contact information of manufacturer shall be accompanied in the packing container. The packaging mark diagram outside the packaging container shall comply with the provisions of GB/T Storage and transport Storage The storage warehouse for products shall have flat ground, good ventilation and have no corrosive gases. Products of different specifications and types shall be stacked up separately and orderly Transport Inclination, inversion, rain, snow and severe collision shall be avoided during transport, and throwing is Page 17 of 18

9 forbidden during loading and unloading. 9.4 Operation instructions The operation instructions of the douche shall include the following contents: a) Performance, function introduction of the product; b) Related matters on installation methods; c) Related matters on operation methods; d) Matters that require special attention in operation; e) Related matters on routine maintenance inspection; f) Fault repair and other contact matters; g) Safety precautions.
