2 WELCOME TO HYDERABAD Dear all With bright prospectus of India becoming one of the three largest Aviation market in the world by 2020 with consequent phenomenal increase in air traffic, all the airports and stakeholders committed to maintain as well as enhance aviation safety standards. Keeping this in mind International Aviation Fire Protection Association (IAFPA) and Indian Aviation Fire Safety Specialist Group (IAFSSG) jointly organising International ARFF Conference and Exhibition at Marriot Convention Centre, Hyderabad, India from 26 to 28 Feb This event will be a meeting point for Aviation Fire Safety specialists, equipment manufacturers and regulators. The conference will deliberate upon many issues of interest through technical papers and will be addressed to ensure technical advancement and exchange of views. Eminent professionals of Aviation Fire Safety from different countries are selected to present technical papers. 3 established in the year 2002 as a non-profit organisation with concerted efforts of some of the ARFF enthusiast for promotion and dissemination of technical knowledge, awareness and up gradation of fire safety standards among the ARFF personnel in particular, and personnel employed in the aviation sector in general. IAFSSG successfully conducted its first national seminar in the year 2010 and an international ARFF Conference and Exhibition in the year 2014 at Bangalore. In its continued efforts in enhancing the aviation protection and safety, IAFSSG now conducts its second international ARFF conference in India jointly with IAFPA (International Aviation Fire Protection Association) which is another similar well established international group.
