Doormasters Inc. has 26 years experience in the overhead door industry. Dan Murdock and Audrey Egilsson have worked hard to create a strong, respected and well received overhead door specialist company. What is the Sunshine Door? Years ago, a customer asked for a garage door that would let more light into their shop. Dan and Audrey put their heads together to create the Sunshine Door. The Sunshine Door is an overhead door application that consists of panels made from a clear polycarbonate sheet product. A Sunshine Door in your workspace truly does bring the sunshine in. The Sunshine door, which is available in a variety of colours, adds to the look of a building while creating a naturally lit and welcoming atmosphere in which to work. Your customers and employees will welcome the inviting environment that natural light will provide. The Sunshine Door is very effective in winter months with the advantage of solar gain. Each and every Sunshine Door is manufactured in Red Deer, Alberta. Giving Back Doormasters Inc. is a locally owned company that strongly believes in giving back to the community and are proud to have supported many great non-profit organizations throughout the years. When Deidra Dionne was an up and coming Olympic hopeful, Doormasters Inc. saw an inspiring young athlete and sponsored her throughout her career. Here is just a few of the many organizations Doormasters Inc. has supported: International Door Association (IDA) Canadian Door Institute (CDI) Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) Red Deer Chamber of Commerce Canadian Home Builders Central Alberta Ronald McDonald House Festival of Trees Special Olympics Opened for business operating from a 180 sq. ft. office in downtown, Red Deer with one full time employee. August Became a distribution centre for All Weather Windows and moved into a 2700 sq. ft. building. August The first sunshine door was installed at Executive Home Building Supply in Red Deer. Took over the bay next door, increasing in size to 5400 sq. ft. December 1 Still owned by Dan Murdock and Audrey Egilsson, Sunshine Doors and Doormasters Inc. began operating independently. August 2011 Audrey Egilsson starts the next chapter of her life. December Moved into and developed a 1400 sq. ft. warehouse. August Incorporated as Doormasters Inc. July December 10 th Anniversary! Eight full time employees and one full time sub-contractor. December full time employees at Doormasters Inc. May
