28 LED technology energy management Energy management Even more potential to save energy by use of specific control and feedback control systems Our lighting systems can be combined with an individually adapted control technology upon request, for example for the outdoor area of petrol stations Only just enough lighting necessary is switched in order to illuminate the outdoor area. When a customer drives into the petrol station area, the complete lighting system is switched on. If there is no vehicle in the petrol station area, the lighting that is not deemed necessary is switched off again. Thanks to the robustness of LED technology, the on and off cycles hardly have any effect upon the LED life expectancy. By means of the advantage of our LED lighting, long life expectancy, low maintenance effort, and low energy consumption, the changeover of existing lighting systems pays off within a very short time due to the savings made through low energy consumption dependent upon duration of operation.
