Assist Fire 08/06/ :44: W PROSPECT AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of West Prospect Avenue to assist the fire department with a smoke alarm. Lake Bluff and Knollwood Fire Departments responded and provided the homeowner with a temporary smoke detector. Office stood by until no further assistance was needed and all units cleared. Ambulance Assist 08/06/ :41: WARRINGTON CT Narrative: Officer responded to the block of Warrington Court with the Lake Bluff, Knollwood, and Lake Forest Fire Departments to assist with a female who had fallen. The patient was helped to a chair and did not wish to be transported to the hospital. No other police service requested. Alarm Business 08/06/ :54: SHORE ACRES DR : Officers responded to the 1600 block of Shore Acres for a report of an activated burglar alarm. Officers arrived on scene and found the front door to be ajar. Officers checked the interior and noted no irregularities. A keyholder responded and reset the alarm and secured the building. Check Well Being 08/06/ :17: N ENVIRON CIR Narrative: Officers responded to the block of Environ Circle for a well-being check. Officers responded and report no problems. Ambulance Assist 08/07/ :26: WARRINGTON DR Narrative: Officer assisted the Lake Bluff, Knollwood and Lake Forest Fire Department at the block of Warrington Drive with a female complaining of a medical issue. Patient was transported to the Highland Park Hospital by ambulance #421. No other police service requested. Child Seat 08/07/ :45: E CENTER AVE Narrative: Subject came in to the Lake Bluff Public Safety Building for the child safety seats to be checked. Two (2) Operation Kids Child Safety Seat Checklists were signed and seats were installed. Child Seat 08/07/ :38: E CENTER AVE Narrative: Subject came into the Lake Bluff Public Safety Building for a child seat install. An Operation Kids Child Safety Seat Checklist was signed and the seat was installed.
2 Ambulance Assist 08/07/ :12: WARRINGTON DR Narrative: Officers responded to the block of Warrington Dr for an ambulance assist with a fall victim. Officers arrived on scene with Lake Bluff and Knollwood Fire Departments and Lake Forest Ambulance 421. The ambulance crew transported the patient to Lake Forest Hospital for evaluation and officers cleared when no further assistance was needed. Kreusch #138 Animal Found 08/07/ :09: W SHERIDAN PL Narrative: Officer responded to the PSB for a walk in found dog that was located at Artesian Park. Officer was unable to locate the owner and the dog was transported to the Knollwood Animal Hospital. The dog was entered into the found animal book and officer cleared. Motorist Assist 08/08/ :26: SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officer responded to northbound Rt 41 at Knauz for a motorist assist. Vehicle was gone upon arrival. Alarm Residential 08/08/ :38: WARRINGTON DR Narrative: Officers responded to the block of Warrington Drive for an activated burglar alarm. Officers arrived on scene and checked the exterior of the residence. Officers found an unsecured back door and made entry into the residence. Officers checkedt the interior which met with negative results. Attempts to notify a key holder met with negative results. Officers were able to secure the residence and cleared to resume patrol duties. Alarm Residential 08/08/ :23: WARRINGTON DR Narrative: Officers responded to the block of Warrington Avenue for an activated panic alarm. Officers checked the exterior of the residence meeting with no irregularities. Officer advised dispatch to ask keyholder if they want us to respond to location if necessary. Officers cleared. Suspicious Person 08/08/ :55: SHERWOOD DR Narrative: Officers responded to the 900 block of Sherwood Drive for a suspicious person, subject looking into several parked vehicles. Officer was able to locate the subject identified as a juvenile. Subject stated that he was just trying to locate the vehicle his parents had rented and he was not sure which one it was. Subject stated that his mother was in the building meeting with a doctor. Officer verified with the business. Officer spoke with the complainant and advised her of the findings. No other assistance was needed and officers cleared. Accident 08/08/ :19: ALBRECHT DR Narrative: Officer responded to the block of Albrecht Drive for a 2 vehicle traffic accident on private property involving 2 tractor trailers. Officer arrived on scene and completed a SR-1050 report form and supplied each driver with a copy and an explanation. Animal Found 08/08/ :38: E PROSPECT AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 200 block of E. Prospect Ave for the dogs running at large. The homeowner was able to get the dogs inside the backyard to hold them. Officer brought the dogs to the PSB where the owner was located.
3 Lock Out 08/08/ :07: ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of Rockland Road for a vehicle lock out. Officer gained entry to the vehicle and the waiver was completed. Assist Fire 08/08/ :14: E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to assist the fire department with an electrical outlet sparking and flames showing. Officer arrived on scene with the Lake Bluff Fire Department who was able to turn off power to the outlet and advised the property owner to contact an electrician to examine the cause of the problem. Officer cleared when no further assistance was needed. Youth Problem 08/08/ :13: W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the Lake Bluff Park District for a juvenile complaint. Officer met with the complainant who stated several juveniles are climbing the equipment in a dangerous manner and they have been warned in the past. Officer met with the juveniles and advised them to use the equipment properly or they will have to leave the playground. The complainant stated no further assistance is required and officer cleared. Harassment 08/08/ :37: E. CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the Lake Bluff Public Safety Building for a report of phone harassment. Alarm Business 08/08/ :05: ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 300 block of Rockland Road for an activated burglar alarm. Upon arrival officers found the area of activation secure and noted no irregularities. No keyholder is responding at this time and officers cleared. Ambulance Assist 08/08/ :22: WARRINGTON DR Narrative: Officer responded to the block of Warrington Drive for a report of a female with a medical issue. The Lake Bluff and Lake Forest Fire Departments responded to the scene. The patient was transported to Lake Forest ER by Lake Forest Ambulance 421. Officer stood by until no further assistance was required. Assist Fire 08/08/ :28: E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 600 block of E. Center Avenue to assist the fire department with an activated CO detector. Officer arrived on scene with the Lake Bluff Fire Department who determined the cause of the alarm was a faulty detector. Officer cleared when no further assistance was needed. Suspicious Person 08/08/ :43: W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officers responded to the area of West Scranton Avenue at Rockland Avenue for a report of a suspicious person in front of the complainant's residence who was drinking a beer. The subject then left the area in his vehicle W/B on West Scranton Avenue. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle. The complainant did not wish to be seen and officers cleared.

Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, and Knollwood Fire Departments responded. Officer remained on scene until no further assistance was required. The patient was transported to Lake Forest Hospital via ambulance 241. Alarm Residential 08/09/ :48: E NORTH AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of E North Avenue for an activated burglar alarm, living room motion. Officer arrived on scene and checked the exterior of the residence which met with no irregularities. No keyholder will be responding. Officer spoke with the neighbor who stated that the homeowner was enroute from Lincolnshire. No other assistance was needed and officers cleared to resume patrol. Alarm Residential 08/09/ :01: E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officers responded to the 200 block of E Center Avenue for an activated burglar alarm. Officers arrived on scene and checked the exterior of the residence which met with no irregularities. Key holder will not be responding and officers cleared to resume patrol duties. Assist Fire 08/09/ :13: INVERNESS CT Narrative: Officer responded to the block of Inverness Court to assist the fire department with an activated fire alarm. Lake Bluff and Knollwood Fire Departments responded. A keyholder responded to allow fire personnel into the residence. It was determined that a faulty sensor was the issue. The keyholder with make arrangements with the alarm company. Ambulance Assist 08/09/ :02: VINCENT CT Narrative: Officers responded to the 300 block of Vincent Court for a possible injury. Officers arrived on scene and Lake Forest and Lake Bluff Fire Department arrived on scene to check the well-being, Lake Forest Fire Department paramedics assumed command. Officers stood by until properly relieved. Ordinance Violation 08/09/ :46: E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of E Scranton Avenue for a report of a drone flying over the top of the complainants house. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant and she escorted officer to the back yard where the drone was hovering overhead. Officer was able to identify a subject at the next house over operating the drone. The subject stated that he was taking pictures of the tree line from the house to the lake for a realtor. 911 Call Investigation 08/09/ :23: ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 900 block Rockland Road of for a 911 verify. Officer arrived on scene and met with employees who advised the call was made in error. Officer noted no irregularities and cleared. Accident Property Damage 08/09/ :38: W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the Park District for a private property 2 vehicle accident. Officer completed a formal Illinois Traffic Crash Report and cleared.
5 Suspicious Vehicle 08/09/ :40: MACLAREN LN Narrative: Officer responded to the area of the 200 block of Maclaren Ln for a reported suspicious vehicle. The complainant advised that a subject was sitting in a black Dodge in front of the residence for 45 min before being met by 2 female subjects in a separate car. The complainant advised that all subjects went into the forest preserved and were gone approximately 5 min before they returned and all subjects entered the black Dodge and left the area. The complainant stated that they did know anything illegal had occurred, but advised the actions were unusual for the neighborhood and wanted this department to be aware. Officer checked the area and noted no irregularities. Alarm Residential 08/09/ :45: BLUFF RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 600 block of Bluff Rd for an activated burglar alarm. Officer checked the exterior of the residence finding all doors secure. No key holders were listed and Officer cleared. Citizen Assist 08/09/ :38: E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 500 block of 535 E. Scranton Ave to assist a house sitter in manually closing a garage door for the a home she is watching. Officer was able to close the garage door without further incident. Alarm Business 08/09/ :14: NORTH SHORE DR Narrative: Officers responded to the 900 block of North Shore Drive for a reported activated burglar alarm. Officers arrived on scene and found all doors secured and noted no irregularities. Officers cleared. Ordinance Violation 08/09/ :50: CRESCENT DR Narrative: Officer responded to the 400 block of Crescent Dr for an open burn. The resident stated he was burning wood in a contained fire pit. Officer advised him of the open burn ordinance and the resident agreed to put out the fire. No further assistance was needed and Officer cleared. Suspicious Vehicle 08/09/ :49: MACLAREN LN / PARK LN Narrative: Officers responded to the area of Park Ln and Maclaren Ln for a reported suspicious vehicle. The complainant advised that an unknown make or model vehicle was sitting in the area with its lights on, and it was unknown if it was occupied. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle. The caller did not wish to be seen and officers cleared. Driving Complaint 08/09/ :48: GREEN BAY RD / ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officers responded to the area of northbound Green Bay Road at Route 176 for a refused complaint of a silver Toyota Camry with partial California registration ending in "66." Officer checked the area but were unable to located the vehicle and cleared. Traffic Arrest 08/09/ :45: GREEN BAY RD / W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officer conducted a traffic stop on Green Bay Road at W Washington Ave. The driver was issued T43407 for speeding and T43408 for driving while license suspended.
6 Accidental Damage to Property 08/10/ :23: SKOKIE HWY / ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to southbound Route 41 south of the EJ&E Bridge for a report of a single vehicle accident with minor damage to windshield by roadway debris. Officer completed a traffic crash report and cleared. Ambulance Assist 08/10/ :47: W HAWTHORNE CT Narrative: Officers responded to the 400 block of W Hawthorn Ct for a female subject with a medical issue. Officer arrived on scene along with Knollwood, Lake Bluff and Lake Forest Fire Departments. Lake Forest assumed command. A release form was signed and no assistance was needed. Officer stood by until properly relieved. Animal Complaint 08/10/ :52: OAK TER Narrative: Officer responded to the 100 block of Oak Terrace for a report of a gold color dog running at large. Officer located the dog and determined it belonged to a resident on Ravine Forest Drive. The dog had slipped out of a collar. Officer gave a verbal warning for dog at large and cleared. Check Well Being 08/10/ :33: EAST PROSPECT AVENUE Narrative: Officers responded to the 200 block of East Prospect Avenue to check on the well-being of the resident there. Officers were able to make contact with the resident who stated he needed no assistance. Accident Property Damage 08/10/ :07: EVA TER / ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer came upon vehicle crash on Route 176 east of Eva Terrace. The drivers reported minor damage, no injuries. The two involved parties wanted to handle the situation between themselves. Driving Complaint 08/10/ :45: ROCKLAND AVE / W CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the bike path in the area of Rockland and W. Scranton for a delayed report of a vehicle driving on the path. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate any vehicles. Officer cleared. Accident Property Damage 08/10/ :14: ROCKLAND RD / SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officer responded to Route 176 at Knauz for a 3 vehicle property damage accident. Officer completed a formal Illinois Traffic Crash Report and cleared. Alarm Business 08/10/ :23: NORTH SHORE DR Narrative: Officers responded to the 900 block of North Shore Drive for an activated burglar alarm. Officer arrived on scene and met with an employee who was leaving and advised the alarm had activated in error. Officer noted no irregularities and cleared. Driving Complaint 08/10/ :07: S RT 41 / E OLD ELM RD Narrative: Officer responded to the area of northbound route 41 at Knauz for a driving complaint. The caller stated a black Volkswagen was swerving and all over the roadway. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
7 Assist Ambulance 08/11/ :14: BIRKDALE RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 300 block of Birkdale Rd for a subject with an injury. The Lake Bluff FD, and Lake Forest Ambulance A421 responded to the scene. Ambulance Assist 08/11/ :14: W WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 200 block of W Washington Ave for a male subject with a medical issue. The Lake Bluff Fire Department responded along with Lake Forest Ambulance A421. The subject refused transport. The family drove the subject to the Lake Forest ER. Officer cleared. Alarm Residential 08/11/ :40: BLUFF RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 600 block of Bluff Road for an activated burglar alarm, keyholder on location without proper code. Officer was waived down, while enroute, by the keyholder. The keyholder responded back to the residence and made sure the alarm was reset. The keyholder did not want a walk through as they stated they set the alarm off. No irregularities were observed and Officers cleared. Fraud 08/11/ :49: SIGNE CT Narrative: Officer met a complainant at the Public Safety Building regarding a service she purchased on her computer while at her residence located on Signe Court. Complainant received a pop up message stating her computer was infected with a virus and she agreed to pay for a company to remove the virus. The company took control of the computer and work was completed. After paying the company the complainant became fearful that the transaction was a scam. No other money has been charged to her credit card or money removed from any other accounts. Officer advised having the computer serviced at a known company, and notification made to her credit card company and bank. No other police service requested. Assist Fire 08/11/ :28: S WAUKEGAN RD Narrative: Officer responded with the Lake Bluff and Knollwood Fire Departments to the 200 block of S. Waukegan Road for an assist on an activated fire alarm. Fire Department found no cause for the activation and stated no other police service was needed. Lost/Mislaid Property 08/11/ :27: E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer took a walk in report for a lost, missing or stolen wallet taken from the Artesian Park picnic tables. The complainant stated that she was playing in the park with friends and laid the wallet along with assorted balloons down on the picnic table. When the group was done playing she noticed that her wallet along with the balloons had been taken. The incident occurred around 1020 hours. She stated that once she called her parents, they responded to the Lake Bluff Police Department to report the incident. The wallet contained USC along with a gift card. Alarm Residential 08/11/ :07: FOREST COVE RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 500 block of Forest Cove Drive for an activated burglar alarm. Officers checked the exterior of the residence with met with negative results. Key holder will not be responding and Officers cleared to resume patrol duties.
8 Citizen Assist 08/11/ :16: SHERWOOD TER Narrative: Officer responded to to assist a car dealer with two VIN inspections. Officer verified the VIN on a 2017 Chevy Traverse and a 2017 Chevy Trax that were both being sold and titled to customers in the state of Indiana. Alarm Residential 08/11/ :02: E WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 500 block of E Washington Avenue for an activated burglar alarm, verify false alarm because the cleaning lady set it off on accident. Officer verify with the homeowner and the cleaning. No other irregularities were noted and officer cleared. Parking Problem 08/11/ :54: SUNRISE AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 700 block of East Scranton Avenue for a report of subjects parking east of the sign. Officer located one vehicle and issued the owner a cafe citation, C for parking in prohibited area. Animal Complaint 08/11/ :28: SHERIDAN RD / SHORE ACRES DR Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Shoreacres for 2 dogs running at large. Officer checked the area of Shoreacres, Arbor Drive and Crabtree Farms. The owner of the 2 dogs called back and stated that they found the dogs on E. Blodgett Avenue. Officer cleared to resume patrol. Suspicious Person 08/11/ :04: E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officers responded to the block of East Scranton Avenue, for a report of two suspicious people who the complainant believed were trying to confuse her. Officers met with the complainant who verified that nothing is missing from the business and no crime took place. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the subjects. Ordinance Violation 08/11/ :06: E WASHINGTON AVE Narrative: Officers responded to the 100 Block of East North Avenue for a noise complaint of a loud party. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate any violations. The complainant did not wish to be seen and officers cleared. Vehicle Theft 08/12/ :20: SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officer responded to a dealership for a report of a stolen auto. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant who stated that the vehicle has been missing for approximately 6 days. The vehicle is described as a S550 black 4 door Mercedes-Benz. Alarm Residential 08/12/ :57: N ENVIRON CIR Narrative: Officer responded to the block of Environ Circle for an activated burglar alarm and verified that the alarm was accidental by the home owner's family member. No other irregularities were observed.
9 Premise Check 08/12/ :19: WARRINGTON DR Narrative: Officers responded to the block of Warrington Drive for a premise check called in by a contractor. The caller stated that the back sliding glass window had been broken. Officers arrived on scene and check the area of the sliding glass window which appeared to shatter and fall straight down. There was no damage done to the screen door and there was nothing on the ground in the area besides the broken glass. The sliding door was also locked. The realtor arrived on scene and opened the door to the residence which was empty due to it being for sale. Officer checedk the interior which met with no irregularities. Officers determines that the it was property damage only with no criminal intent. No other assistance was needed and officer gave the realtor a business card with the case number written on the back.
