3 FEATURES 1. Proximity type reader, read range up to 10cm (4 ). 2. Proximity card are less prone to physical damage or loss. 3. Memory capacity store up to 5000 card holders. 4. LCD display,16 characters 2 lines with back light 5. Three access mode options: (1). Mode 0: Card only (default). (2). Mode 1: Card and PIN.. (3). Mode 2: Card only or main password. 6. Anti-duress function : Card + personal password + random number or main password + random number With the anti-duress function provided, you no longer kidnap by thief. Key in a preset code to the rear, the duress relay will be activated to the require alarm device, other than the door opened normally. 7. Guard function : Guard password + Card The function can be used to arm/disarm the connected security system. 8. Personal Identification Number (PIN) Each card can be added with a four-digit PIN. This PIN is only valid when Mode 1: Card and PIN of the access modes are selected, which provides higher security. 9. Lock out on invalid password To prevent unauthorized persons from gaining password entry by trial and error, the system activates an alarm relay and/or automatically deletes the card number after five tries, once the option id selected in the system. 10. Keypad pause function Keypad key in incorrect five times and no distance of 1min, keypad function will stop 1min and display READY FOR CARD ENTRY HALT 11. User card can be register /delete in batch mode 12. Large 2-line LCD of 16 characters with back light feature including power saver function: the back light will turn off if inactive for more than 3 minutes Alarm to be activated once incorrect password key-in five times within four minutes. 14. Last 100 Access Granted card numbers can be viewed on-screen. 15. Strike, alarm and duress relay have selectable activation timer ( seconds) 16. Selectable door left open timer(0-255 seconds) 17. Audible key tone available 18. For safety reason the * will be displayed when entering card number or PIN 19. Force entry alarm function available. 20. Tamper alarm function available. 21. Three-piece enclosure design the reader is patted for weather and hazard proofing 22. A separate relay module design, high security provided 23. Check the record in any time. 24. 8 MAIN FUNCTION DESCRIPTION 1. Basic operation MODE 0 Card only DEFAULT: This mode only requires the user to present his card to be granted access. MODE 1 Card and PIN: The mode requires that the user presents his card and then enters his PIN on the keypad. This mode is suitable for application s where higher security is needed. MODE 2 Card only or main password only: This mode will require that the user presents his card to the reader or enter main password using the keypad to be granted access. Open the door by exit button: Opening the door just pressed the exit button. 2. Card Management Up to 5,000 user cards can be registered in the HA3021 system. All cards are required to be registered in the system before use. Depending on how many cars you need to program, you can simply add them one at a time or use the batch process to ass a per-selected batch of cards in the system. For more information on cards, refer to the Adding & Deleting Cards section. 3. Duress Function: The duress function is used to provide added security to personnel. In situations of duress, a cardholder presents his card to the reader, and then enters his PIN + any one-digit number (0-9) when the MODE1 of the access modes is selected. Or enter the master password + any one-digit number (0-9) when the MODE 2 of the access modes is selected. Guard Function: (Guard password + # + Card) HA3021 equipped a guard relay which can arm or disarm the connected security system. 9 5. Modify Personal password: 1. MODE 1, display after sensor card Enter Password Code NO.: 2. And now enter * + old personal password (default: 0000) New Password Code NO.: 3. Enter new password(4 digit) and enter #. 6. Back- up password: Back up password: Key-in back up password and enter # when forgot the password, and then sensor the valid card, you will enter the setting mode. Please enroll the card to become valid card before use. WARNING Invalid Entry 1. Under Mode 0, it s only for card holder access granted so by key in password to enter, error message shows. 2. Wrong password please re-enter the correct password. READY FOR CARD DOOR OPEN 1. Once door open without closing, alarm will be activate and message will display on screen. Please close the door to stop alarm. 2. Forced entry will activate the alarm sound to warn security guard if any intruder. READY FOR CARD RELEASE ALARM Message displays when release alarm code was enter to disarm. HEART ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. 11

READY FOR CARD FORCE ACCESS Message displays when enter the door by forcing it to open and alarm continuously beeping. By using valid card or key in disarm code can release the alarm. READY FOR CARD TAMPER ALARM Message displays when casing was dismantled and alarm sound continuously. By using valid card or key in disarm code or mount back the casing can release the alarm. READY FOR CARD ENTRY HALT Message displays when entering wrong pass words for 5 times, keypad will halt for 1 minute. By using valid card or wait for 1 min. to continue the process.
