Answer: The Sentus system can be expanded later. New devices are installed into an existing control cabling and the system is easily changed to accommodate new functionality. Question: Is it possible to include other systems, such as a security system, measurement devices or electrical locks from other suppliers to the Sentus system? Answer: Yes, in most cases. Sentus Automation needs an electrical output contact as a requirement for compatibility. Question: How can Sentus Automation control of lights and electrical device? Answer: Any switch (or switch group) can be set to control any light or electrical device. Also different kind of sensors (e.g. motion detectors) can be used to set lights on/off. It is easy to change the assignments of the various control devices. Therefore, as a changed layout in a room leads to a need to change the lighting and the control of lighting in that room, the homeowner can easily re-assign the switches to control the lights in the room. Answer: Heating control, the system includes an energy saving room-specific heating control, complete with daily profiles. The system can be used to collect separate temperature information from each room. The excellent control and data collection capabilities of the mobile phone and Internet connections are also available with Sentus Automation. Question: Can Sentus Automation provide efficient control to blinds & curtains? Answer: Curtain or Venetian blinds, can controlled with Sentus Automation using switches or the remote control. The curtain control can be used as a part of the energy saving program of the house. The curtains can be closed for the night automatically to reduce the heat loss through the windows. The automatic control of the curtains can also be based on the amount of light at the window. Question: Can Sentus Automation provide effective security and asset protection? Answer: Security system, Sentus Automation uses sensors which detect and react to a person being present or moving in the house or to a door being opened. The signals generated by these sensors are transmitted to other devices within the house, or to remotes sites using the SMS or Internet messages.
