3 B. Manipulation Specification 1. Arming Arming means all-around guarded when there is no person at home. All detectors are working. Once something triggers any of the detectors, the alarm sets off. 2. Home arming (Partial arming) Home arming means that when there is someone at home, for the sake of security, it is needed to make the outside doors, windows, balconies, and around detectors working. But, it is also needed to avoid the person at home from triggering the domestic detectors to alert wrongly. At this time, we choose home arming, letting some detectors work and the others not. 3. Disarming Disarming means that when control host sets off, it can stop the alerting or makes the system on the disarmed status. After disarming, even triggering detectors can NOT make the control host alert, except the detectors in emergency zone or emergency key in the remote control. 4. Emergency alerting When emergency happens, press on the emergency key on the remote key fob, keypad or panic button. C. Control Host Installation 1. Connect the telephone landline to the LINE2 on the host 2. Connect the small siren to siren jack at back of the host 3. Connect the power to the host and turn the switch at the back to ON D. Pair/Learn Sensors to the Control Host Normally, all sensors in the big box have been paired to the host panel and no need to pair again. For additional sensors, please refer to the section below to pair (learn) sensor to the host panel. 1. Pair remote control to the host: Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status, then press * 0 * on the host keypad and host panel begins to count down 10 seconds. During this time, press key on the remote control and host panel gives a long beep to indicate successful leaning. 2. Pair sensor to the host: a) Intelligent method - the host panel will pair the sensor into a zone automatically: Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status, then press * 0 1 * on the host keypad and host panel begins to count down 10 seconds. During this time, trigger the sensor and host panel gives a long beep to indicate successful leaning.

4 b) Designated method - pair the sensor to a specified zone number on the host panel: Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status, then press * 8?? * (where?? is the zone number which can be 1 to 98) on the host keypad and host panel begins to count down 10 seconds. During this time, trigger the sensor and host panel gives a long beep to indicate successful leaning. E. Disconnect Remote Key Fob & Sensor from the Control Host 1. Remote key fob Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status and then press *02* on the host keypad 2. Sensors Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status and then press # # on the host keypad F. Store / Delete Phone Numbers into the Host Panel 1. Common alarm phone numbers: Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status and then press the following code on the host keypad # GroupNumber TelephoneNumber # Where GroupNumber can be 1~5; 5 phone numbers can be stored into the host panel. 2. Emergency phone numbers: Host panel will call stored emergency phone number once the emergency button is pressed on the host panel or remote control Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status and then press the following code on the host s keypad: # 6 TelephoneNumber # 3. Delete stored phone numbers in the host panel: Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status and then press # 6 GourpNumber # where GroupNumber can be 1 ~ 6 which were used when storing the number into the host panel.

5 G. How to set exit (arm) delay & entry (alarm) delay: 1. The method to turn on the alarm delay (entry delay): Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status and then press # 7 XX #, where XX is 0 99 (seconds) Please note, the zone type is also required to be set to delay alarm zone: # 8?? 5 #, where?? is the zone number from 1 to 99. e.g. a door sensor is paired to zone 8 and this door sensor could be triggered when entering the house, then you need to set the zone 8 to alarm delay zone. 2. The method to turn on the arm delay (exit delay): Make sure the alarm is in disarmed status and then press * 4 XX *, where XX is 0 99 (seconds). H. Local Arming/Home-Arming/Disarming/Emergency Alarm 1. Arming i) By wireless remote control:press the Away button, SF is shown on host s display ii) By keypad on the control host: (Press *PASSWORD* if the password protection is ON) Press ARMING on the host and display shows SF 2. Home arming i) By wireless remote control:press the Home button, BF is shown on host s display ii) By keypad on the host: (Press *PASSWORD* if the password protection is ON) Press INTELLIGENT on host and display shows BF 3. Disarming i) By wireless remote control: press the corresponding disarm button, CF is shown on the host s display ii) By keypad on the host: (Press *PASSWORD* if the password protection is ON) Press DISARMING on host and display shows CF 4. Emergency alarm i) By wireless remote control: press the corresponding emergency button, 99 is shown in the host s display ii) By keypad on the host: press ALARM key and display shows 99

6 I. Remote Operation 1. Call-in to control Dial the phone number associated to the telephone line which is connected to the host through telephone or cellphone. After a cycle of ringing, the control host will pick up the call. After one beep, enter password (default password is 0000) and then after one beep, pressing phone or cellphone keys. Concrete operation is as follows: 1 key: Monitoring the Scene 2 key: Open Siren 3 key: Close Siren 4 key: Arming 5 key: Disarming # key: Confirm and Hand UP 2. Telephone alert-receiving After host alerts, it will automatically dial pre-set telephones and cellphones in sequence. When the user picks up the phone, if there is no person receiving call or the line is busy, the host will dial the next phone numbers until the alert call is picked up and confirmed. 1 key: Monitoring the Scene 2 key: Open Siren 3 key: Close Siren 4 key: Arming 5 key: Disarming # key: Confirm and Hand UP J. Alarm Setting Command: Before operating the alarm setting commands in table below, user needs to input *PASSWORD* if the password protection is ON (the default password is 0000) and then make sure the alarm is disarmed. (0~7) # Directly press 0-9 to inquiry the 10 latest alarm events and display alarm zone number (0 means the latest one). Where?? is zone number which can be 0 to 99 (0-7): 0=not use, 1=common defense zone, 2=intelligent defense zone,

7 3=emergency defense zone, 4=multi-checked defense zone, 5=delay-alarm defense zone, 7=repeat triggered defense zone. For example, press # # then you can set up zone 2 as the intelligent zone. Note: When you input 99, it means all the wireless zone will be set to the same zone type. Emergency zone: No matter the alarm is armed or disarmed, the sensor in this zone will set off the alarm immediately, which is suitable for the gas, smoke, safe, emergency accesses and other special occasions. Intelligent (Home/Partial armed) zone : The sensor in this zone will not set off alarm when the alarm is Intelligent armed Multi-checked zone: Under the situation of arming or intelligent arming, if two or more detectors in multi-checked zone are triggered within 30 seconds, the alarm will set off. In this case, it can avoid the false alarm Note: Set up two or more than two defense areas to be multi-checked and they should be set up respectively. Delay alarm zone: When the sensor in this zone is triggered and the alarm can

8 delay to set off. Repeat triggered zone: When the detector is triggered once, the alarm will not go off immediately. Only when it is triggered again within 5-30 seconds after the first trigger, the alarm goes off. The selection of common zone and intelligent zone has no influence of choosing type 4, 5 and 7, so you can choose intelligent or common defense area, while selecting anyone of 4, 5 and 7 type at the same time. However, when you re-select zone type 1, 2 and 3, the zone type 4, 5 and 7 will be cleared.
