2 Month of February, /18/ /18/2014 Conservatory of Music 11:48 AM 11:48 AM Officers responded in reference to a fire alarm. Officer also had problems with a F/S member not listening to instructions and evacuating the building as asked. No issues were found and the alarm was reset. 02/19/ /19/2014 Conservatory of Music 10:56 AM 10:56 AM Officer responded in reference to the fire alarm being activated. The smoke detector outside of the first floor elevator was showing an issue. There were no problems found and the alarm was reset. 02/27/ :39 AM 02/27/ :39 AM E. Thomson Hall Officer responded in reference to the fire alarm. The subject had burnt popcorn which caused smoke. The alarm was reset.

The complainant stated she observed the tree in flames and took a fire extinguisher and put the flames out. 03/28/2014 1:09 PM 03/28/2014 1:09 PM Joynes Hall Officer responded in reference to the fire alarm. The building was searched and the alarm was reset. 03/29/2014 4:26 PM 03/29/2014 4:26 PM Winthrop Coliseum Officer responded in reference to the fire alarm. The building was searched and the alarm was reset.

There was no smoke or fire and the alarm was reset. 04/26/ /26/2014 Rutledge 9:07 PM 9:07 PM Officer responded in reference to a fire alarm. There was smoking coming from the kiln room. RHFD responded and searched and cleared the building. The alarm was reset. 04/28/2014 9:55 PM 09/28/2014 9:55 PM McLaurin Hall Officer responded in reference to a fire alarm sounding at McLaurin. The area was checked with no issues and the alarm was reset.

The alarm was reset. 05/08/2014 1:21 PM 05/08/2014 1:21 PM Byrnes Auditorium Other Fire within Smoking Receptacle Officer responded in reference to a smoking receptacle. The officer used a fire extinguisher and the smoke quickly dissipated. 05/13/ /13/2014 The Courtyard 3:27 PM 3:27 PM Officer responded in reference to the fire alarm. A contractor who was cleaning out the air ducts accidently set it off. The area was cleared and the alarm was reset.

The alarm was reset. 07/23/2014 2:45 AM 07/23/2014 2:45 AM Johnson Hall Water Leak Officer responded in reference to the alarm and found a water leak in the prop storage area. Facilities was called out. 07/23/2014 8:56 PM 07/23/2014 8:56 PM Margaret Nance Hall Officer responded in reference to a fire alarm on the 3 rd floor. There were no issues and the alarm was reset. 07/24/ :40 AM 07/24/ :40 AM Johnson Hall Officer responded to Johnson Hall in reference to a fire alarm showing water overflow. There were no issues and the alarm was reset.

Officer spoke with the subject who stated that he accidently pulled the fire alarm thinking it was an automatic door opener. The alarm was reset.

The alarm was reset.
