The valves and components are all pre-tested by our Tyco engineers European Made // Uses the famous DV-5 which is produced in Spain // Designed, engineered and built at our Centre of Excellence for valve engineering in the Netherlands The TYCO DV-5 Red-E Cabinet, is a pre-assembled fire protection valve package enclosed within a free-standing cabinet designed to occupy minimal floor space and provide an enclosure for a fire protection valve riser. The packaged DV-5 Red-E Cabinet is pre-wired and the water inlet and outlets to the valve riser are grooved. The valve package includes the system (manual) shut-off control valve, a downstream shut-off valve, an automatic water control valve with electric actuation with galvanized trim and supervisory switches.

5 How The Valve Functions All switches within the cabinet are pre-wired to a junction box. An optional control panel is available and is pre-wired. The control panel can be used to make the electrical connections for power, detection circuits, and alarms, the only remaining connections to complete the system. In addition to the optional control panel being integral to the DV-5 Red-E Cabinet, windows have been pro vided in the door for viewing the essential system pressure gauges. Locks for the cabinet door and the control panel access are standard. The outdoor version of the DV-5 Red-E Cabinet, Middle East have sealed doors and connections to the elements. Optimized Production Process Detailed Engineering Standard Cabinets Customer Sign off Standard Cabinets + options Special Cabinets Time scale By making use of optimized process Tyco is able to offer standardized cabinets and standardized cabinets with certain range of specific options. For these cabinets Detailed Engineering and Customer Sign Off can be done at the same time. This is enabled by an already prepared Detailed Engineering, availability of a Datasheet (TFP1303) and a quick quoting process. For Special Cabinets Tyco will follow the Detailed Engineering and Customer Sign Off as two separate steps. First the Detailed Engineering will be completed based on a discussion with the customer concerning his needs. Customer feedback on our designs is essential to ensure the exact needs of our customers are fulfilled. Based on this feedback and input from the customer, a quotation will be produced. We will only begin production when the customer is completely happy with the design and features of the cabinet.
