2 Product application Pinnacle has designed and manufactured a fan forced 145 litre pharmacy refrigerator that fully complies with the requirements of the Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) and the National Vaccine Storage Guidelines Strive for 5. The standard features in this cabinet exceed those offered by other manufacturers. The under-bench pharmacy refrigerator is designed to fit under the standard bench height yet maximise the internal storage space. With an operation temperature of 5 degrees Celsius and alarm points of 2-8 degrees Celsius, the refrigerator is designed for keeping pharmaceutical products at their optimal temperature. The refrigerator is best suited to pharmacies, vet clinics, universities, hospitals and clinical trial organisations that have a moderate turnover of product. Pinnacle are backed by a warranty of 1 year parts and labour and 2 year parts only, with options for extended warranty. Pinnacle Pharmacy Refrigerators are available in 36L, 66L, 145L, 300L, 430L, 522L, 620L, 720L, 1081L, 1270L, 1660L, and 1850L. Cabinet Construction and Standard Features The PPR-S-145-GD is constructed externally of white Colorbond steel. The internal liner is white Colorbond steel with adjustable shelf holders. Standard features for the PPR-S-145-GD include: Digital controller with minimum and maximum temperature logging. The controller has battery backup that will continue to display the temperature inside the refrigerator for 24hrs after a power loss (Note: batteries should be replaced after extended power loss, see manual for further details). This feature is particularly desirable as it will not only display the current internal temperature but will also continue to log the minimum and maximum temperature. The audible alarm will activate when the refrigerator reaches the high temperature alarm point of 8 C even without power connected to the refrigerator. This feature has proved to be beneficial when the power cord has been bumped, unplugged or a circuit breaker has tripped. Remote alarm contacts for Building Management System (BMS) connection. This feature is primarily used by facilities that are not staffed 24hrs a day. A set of contacts will open and trigger an alarm if there is a high temperature, low temperature or a power failure. Most often the alarm contacts can be hooked into the existing alarm system within the facility making it very cost effective. For those without a BMS, there is the option of GSM and hard-wired auto dial out systems, so staff are notified of faults when offsite. PPR-S GD Review date: 21/08/2018 Page 2 of 5

3 Door open alarm. In many cases refrigerator doors can be accidentally left slightly open compromising product, causing unnecessary ice ups and potential service calls. The Pinnacle door alarm controller will sound an audible alarm after three minutes of the door being left open to notify users that the door needs to be closed. Internal fan switch. To reduce temperature fluctuations within the Pinnacle Pharmacy Refrigerator, upon opening the door the internal fan is stopped. This feature stops cold air being blown out of the refrigerator, which also reduces energy costs. Cable port hole. In some cases, users fit auxiliary temperature sensors. The Pinnacle Pharmacy Refrigerator comes with a cable port as standard therefore the sensor cable does not have to run through the door seal. This feature reduces damage to door seals and also reduces unnecessary ice ups and potential service calls. See our auxiliary temperature logger range. Fan forced cooling. Twin fan forced cooling ensures good air circulation and uniform temperature distribution on shelves within the Pharmacy Refrigerator. Coated wire shelves. Two full size shelves and one half-size bottom shelf. High efficiency insulation and glass door. High quality materials ensure reduced running costs and maintain internal conditions. Door lock. A lockable door provides product security. LED lighting. Internal LED lights are energy efficient and therefore reduce the running costs. LED lights offer long life operation and reduce heat load inside the cabinet. Cyclic defrost. The cooling plate located on the back wall within the refrigerator is automatically defrosted during an off cycle. The refrigerators are designed for moderate turnover of product. 4 Optional features Guardian T alarm testing facility with 7-day chart recorder. 7-day chart recorder. Records the temperature within the refrigerator and continually plots it on a 7-day rotating graph. This feature allows easy viewing of refrigerator temperatures. For full details please refer to the product page. Low temperature cut out, fitted to stop the refrigerator freezing in the unlikely event of a control failure. Auto dialer system, used for communicating fault conditions by dialing external telephone numbers when the refrigerator is in the alarm state. Available in both GSM and standard phone line. Additional wire coated shelving. Customized shelving available when the existing shelving does not suit the application.
