6 3 BC3 Low Energy Range General information on Eaton s Low Energy Range Your solution to the new Building Regulations - BC3 Low Energy CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) range is a dedicated lampholder range for use with low energy lamps. Following the latest edition of Part L of the building regulations, we have developed a non-standard interface to ensure only low energy lamps can be used with this product range. The purpose of these regulations is to ensure that domestic dwellings have at least some efficient lighting, typically 3-4 lighting points in an average sized dwelling. This range covers the most commonly used items within the home. See page 8 for technical details. BC3 Low Energy Pendant Sets Lampholders tested to BS 5733 and relevant parts of BS EN T2.
