The IEC is a not-for-profit, quasi-governmental organization, founded in 1906, which develops International Standards and operates conformity assessment systems in the fields of electrotechnology. The IEC comprises one member National Committee per country, they each pay membership fees and in exchange can participate fully in IEC work. Source : IEC 4

11 what is flexible display device? flexible display device (defined by IEC TC 110 in IEC ) flexible display panel and flexible module that are mechanically bendable in one or more of the steps of substrate handling, manufacturing, storage, use, operation, shipping, and relocation Note 1 to entry: Preferably flexible display devices are bendable, compliable to curved surface, rollable, or foldable without creasing. Note 2 to entry: Flexible display devices are generally rugged under rough handling.
