Fnctions The rectanglar horn featres a niqe combination of a re entrant horn with two transdcers, one for low and the other for high freqencies, reslting in breathtaking sond clarity. The horn is weather protected and can be sed in areas with high hmidity. It is therefore sitable for otdoor applications sch as sport gronds, sports stadims, leisre parks, exhibition areas and passenger terminals, as well as for indoor pblic address. The ABS horn lodspeaker and alminm bracket are finished in light grey (RAL 73). The LH1 UC3E is designed for se in voice alarm systems and is EN 4 24 certified and compliant with BS and EN The horn lodspeaker has bilt in protection to ensre that, in the event of a fire, damage to the lodspeaker does not reslt in failre of the circit to which it is connected. In this way, system integrity is maintained, ensring lodspeakers in other areas can still be sed to inform people of the sitation. The horn lodspeaker has ceramic terminal blocks, thermal fse and heat resistant high temperatre wiring. It has provision for internal monting of the optional line / lodspeaker spervision boards. Certifications and approvals All Bosch lodspeakers are designed to withstand operating at their rated power for 1 hors in accordance with IEC 268 Power Handling Capacity (PHC) standards. Bosch has also developed the Simlated Acostical Feedback Exposre (SAFE) test to demonstrate that they can withstand two times their rated power for short drations. This ensres extra reliability nder extreme conditions, leading to higher cstomer satisfaction, longer operating life, and mch less chance of failre or performance deterioration. 2 2 LH1 UC3E Msic Horn Lodspeaker Region Erope Certification CE CPD Installation/configration notes The horn lodspeaker incldes a transformer for both 7 V and 1 V with taps on the primary winding for different power settings. Nominal fll power, half power, qarter power or eight power radiation (i.e. in 3 db steps) can easily be selected by connecting to the appropriate tap. The connection cable is fed ot throgh an ABS cable gland (PG13.) in the rear cover.
