The Prismatite 7300 s highly efficient injection molded prismatic lens distributes light in a broader pattern than conventional industrial fluorescent fixtures. Spacing of up to 1.7 times the mounting height provides excellent uniformity. Carefully designed sidewall prisms achieve brightness control that is superior to other lenses. Sidewall prisms produce an uplight component that illuminates the ceiling and minimizes contrast. The luminaire shall be either a surface or pendant mounted two lamp wraparound, enclosed and gasketed unit. The luminaire shall consist of two sub-assemblies, the fixture housing and the lens assembly. Mechanical Gasketing shall be closed cell neoprene attached to the housing, enclosing fixture when the lens assembly is latched in place. Latching and hinging shall be accomplished by two cast aluminum hangers attached to the lens. Hangers fit into push button actuated latches that permit the lens to be open and hinged from either side. Distributions Optical The lens shall be trough shaped and injection molded of clear acrylic plastic. Overall thickness shall be 4.75mm (3/16 ). The bottom surface shall be covered by three strips of transverse shaped prisms. The sidewall shall have horizontal light splitting prisms on the inside and vertical prism and flutes on the outside. An opaque white injection molded acrylic end cap shall be permanently attached to each end of the lens. The light output shall be % in the 0-60 zone and not more than % In the zone and provide a spacing criteria.
