2 ANTI FIRE 118 Mattress Security The 14 cm thick OBA ANTI FIRE 118 mattress core has undergone anti-fire treatment. It meets the 5.2 standards and has been tested by the Institute for Security and Reinforcement of Security. The 2 reinforced borders guarantee good stability and make it easier for the patient to get up. Certificate Hygiene The Obatex ANTI FIRE 118 inconti - nence protection cover protects the mattress against humidity. It is easy to clean, washable at up to 95 C, can be tumble dried and is flame retardant. It is also impermeable to liquids but vapour permeable. Control report Evacuation OBA ANTI FIRE 118 Handles The ANTI FIRE 118 handles have been designed to withstand the constraints of patient transport during an emergency evacuation. The main Swiss hospitals use our handles with confidence. Special Handles The handles are manufactured using a special technique and were designed exclusively for mattresses intended for emergency patient evacuation. The handles, therefore, are highly resistant even in extreme condi - tions and allow speedy evacuation. The handles have been developed and tested by the Fire Dept of the cantonal Bruderholz/Basel Hospital. We can provide such handles as an option upon request.
