De to the different fnctional modles, contry-specific characteristics are accommodated in the connection jst as qickly as the respective alarm handling. The fire panel is available with two different hosings: Hosing for monting directly on the wall Frame installation hosings which are fitted to the monting frame and can be swiveled. With the aid of special monting kits, the hosings can be monted in mm (19") cabinets. All hosings can be extended with varios additional hosings for all conceivable applications. The FMR 5000 Remote Keypad offers the decentralized operation of a control panel or control panel network. Thanks to the external CAN and Ethernet interfaces, several Panel Controllers and Remote Keypads can be interconnected. Using either a single loop strctre or mltiple loop strctres with Ethernet backbone, the network can be adapted to nearly every application conditions. 1 2 CAN CAN/Ethernet Network 1 Fire panel 2 Remote Keypad Ethernet Additionally, the Ethernet interface allows for the connection to a Bilding Management System (BS Bosch Bilding ntegration System) via an OPC server. To that end, there are permanently located keys on the right, bottom, and pper edge of the display as well as variably located virtal keys in the toch-screen area. F G P o s. Additional accessories Front Doors Printer with Frame nstallation Hosing Cable Sets for special applications Modles The fnctional modles are atonomos, encapslated nits that can be inserted into any control panel slot sing "plg-and-play" technology. Ths, the power spply and the data traffic to the control panel are indicated atomatically withot any additional settings. The modle is atomatically identified by the control panel and fnctions in the defalt operating mode. Wiring to external components is performed sing compact connector/screw terminals. After a replacement, only the connectors need to be reinserted; extensive rewiring is no longer reqired.

Depending on the application reqirements, Panel Controllers and Remote Keypads can be groped, defined as network node or local node. Within a grop, only panel conditions of the same grop can be displayed. Regardless of the grops, network nodes allow for the display and handling of all panel conditions. Local nodes display the conditions of the related panel. When networking via CAN and/or Ethernet interfaces, the following connection topologies are optional: Redndant loop via CAN1 and CAN2 (max. 32 nodes) Ethernet loop (max. 32 nodes) Mltiple CAN loops with Ethernet backbone and p to 32 nodes For networking with optical fibers, yo can se varios converters. Detection Points The Address Cards activate detection points. The FPA 5000 governs p to 4096 detection points. Each element and inpt which, after the programming, is able to set off an alarm reqires a detection point. npts are considered as detection points if they are programmed accordingly in the FSP 5000 RPS Programming Software. To ensre optimm battery service life, the control panel shold only be operated at sites with normal room temperatres. The following environmental conditions mst be noted: Permissible ambient temperatre: -5 C 50 C Permissible relative hmidity: Max. 95 %, non-condensing Operating and display elements shold be located at eye level. Frame installation hosings reqire at least 230 mm free space on the right next to the last hosing; this space is for swiveling ot the attached hosing for connection, maintenance, and service. Sfficient space shold be left nderneath and next to the control panel for any possible extensions, e.g. for an additional power spply or an extension hosing. Do not operate devices showing condensation.
