2 Page 2 of 3 1 Description of products and use According to the client, the construction products to be tested are pipe systems made of KML cast iron pipes and fittings, TML cast iron pipes and fittings and SML cast iron pipes and fittings. The colours of the cast iron pipes were KML (grey), TML (brown) and SML (red brown) 2 Preparation of the test specimens The client provided one test specimen each prepared in accordance with DI E 877, Annex, of the following dimensions: Vertical test specimen, 2 pipe sections with central T-piece, D 100, height 1500 mm, Horizontal test specimen, outgoing from T-piece (90 ) D 50, length: 875 mm. The pipe systems were vertically fitted to the calcium silicate backing board using two 2 pipe clips and fitted horizontally using a steel pipe clip. 3 Material parameters The MFPA Leipzig determined the following parameters Height of pipe systems: Length of horizontally arranged sections: 1500 mm, 875 mm, D 100 D 50 4 Procedure Prior to testing, the specimens were conditioned in accordance with DI E The specimens were tested in accordance with DI E 877 and DI E 13823, version 12/2010. Prior to testing, the test specimens were fitted without any spacing to calcium silicate backing boards (MFPA stamp)

The test results relate only to the behaviour of the test specimens exposed to the specific conditions of the test; they should not be considered as being the sole test criteria to be used for the evaluation of the potential risk of fire of the materials in end use application. This test report is based on the test results contained in the test report PBlll/B dated 08 August The test results refer solely to the described test specimens and not the population of the products. This document does not represent any attestation of conformity or verification of applicability in the meaning of any Building Codes (national/european).
