ASSEMLED IN USA: Substantial transformation assembly in the U.S. complies with Assembled in the USA under the uy American Act. COLD WEATHER: Use of internal thermal heater or a high-capacity battery allows the fi xture to be used in cold weather applications. DAMP LOCATION: UL listed for use in damp locations. DC: EXIT signs can be connected to two different power supplies (one acting as a backup for the other) at the same time. HTR: Use of internal thermal heater allows the fi xture to be used in cold temperature applications. LED: RED or GREEN EXIT lettering with illumination provided by energy effi cient RED or GREEN LEDs. CANOPY: Mounting hardware, which includes a canopy, is provided for easy installation. NYC Approved: Signs/units comply with the New York City building code requirements. REMOTE CAPACITY: Additional battery capacity for longer run times or for remote heads. SD: Critical components (battery, lamps, power supply etc.) of the fi xture are continuously monitored and any malfunction is reported via a user interface. During the automated testing mode the fi xture simulates an AC power failure and performs a battery discharge test. These tests last for at least 30 seconds (monthly), minutes (semi-monthly) and 90 minutes (annually), thus complying with the mandated NFPA 101 code requirements. TAMPER-PROOF: Designed to prevent any unauthorized access. WET LOCATION: UL listed for use in wet locations. UL LISTED: Tested by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) to the nationally recognized Safety (UL924). ETL: Tested by ETL (Intertek Testing Services) to the UL 924 standard, and meets or exceeds the mandated requirements of NFPA 101, NFPA70, OSHA, and NEC codes.
