They provide excellent speech and msic in indoor pblic address applications. New CosCone driver technology, sed in this range, stands for delivering otstanding sond qality from a small sized nit. It ensres a wide and eqal spread of all octave freqencies and eliminates high freqency beaming. Fewer lodspeakers are needed to cover a given area, and the noticeable fading that can occr as a listener walks from one lodspeaker to another area is eliminated. The LC4 UCxxE ceiling lodspeaker is a light and compact nit with an nobtrsive, netral designed front grille. The range offers a choice of three lodspeakers distingished by inpt power of: 6 W, 12 W and 24 W with the same wide opening angle, ensring a wide and eqal spread of the important freqency octaves for speech intelligibility and msic clarity. The LC4 range also incldes a back box and metal fire dome. Certifications and approvals All Bosch lodspeakers are designed to withstand operating at their rated power for 1 hors in accordance with IEC Power Handling Capacity (PHC) standards. Bosch has also developed the Simlated Acostical Feedback Exposre (SAFE) test to demonstrate that they can withstand two times their rated power for short drations. This ensres extra reliability nder extreme conditions, leading to higher cstomer satisfaction, longer operating life, and mch less chance of failre or performance deterioration. A ctting template is spplied with each nit, and the lodspeaker is secred in ceilings p to 5 mm (2 in) thick sing two integral screw driven clamps.

2 2 LC4 Ceiling Lodspeaker Range Connections are made sing a screw terminal block on the frame, where each incoming and otgoing condctor of the same potential can be connected to a separate screw on a terminal block. Power tapping on both 7 V and 1 V allows selection of fll power, half power, qarter power, eight power radiation and 8 Ohm. A selector at the front of the frame simplifies the reqired selection of the power setting. The lodspeaker grille, standard spplied, can be secred to the lodspeaker nit with a qick bayonet fitting after installation of the lodspeaker into the ceiling. 95 mm / 3.74" 7 mm / 2.75" 17 mm /.66" 162 mm / 6.37" 2 mm / 7.87" 2 x 11.5 mm /.45" The optional back box (LC4 CBB), protects the rear of the lodspeaker from dst, falling objects, makes the nit vermin proof and prevents sond traveling via the ceiling cavity to adjacent areas. The back box is assembled with the lodspeaker by means of a snap in constrction and has knock ot holes for two grommets (11.5 mm) and for two cable glands (2.5 mm) aside and on the top. 2 x 2.5 mm /.8" Ease of installation for individal lodspeaker and lodspeaker / fire dome combinations. The metal fire dome (LC4 MFD) monting is fixed in the ceiling prior to the ceiling speaker monting. The fire dome is provided with a safety cord allowing the installer to temporarily hang the lodspeaker in the fire dome, while connecting.
