15 BOC Edwards Japan company history 1971 BOC establishes a joint venture Nissan Edwards Shinku K.K. with Nippon Sanso on a 50/50 basis. Capital 120 myen 1978 E2M introduced 1986 Oil-free DP-Mk1 introduced. Local market share expands to 35-40% BOC increases investment to 60% QDP introduced Joint venture was dissolved. Nissan Edwards Shinku K.K. was managed by BOC Edwards. Scroll type dry pumps launched BOC increased their investment by 4 times to 480myen. (BOC 90%; Nippon Sanso 10%). Company name changed to Nippon Edwards KK. Ina factory started Service Hub operations. Tokyo HQ integrated with BOC Group Tokyo Office.
