7 Accreditation and Insurance Services Office Accredited Fire Rescue Departments World-wide as of 9/ Accredited and ISO 2 in Florida (Current GFR Status) 3 Accredited and ISO 1 in Florida (Our Goal) 10 ISO conducts an on-site analysis of fire suppression services on a five-year cycle. GFR was graded in early 2014: The analysis measures fire risk of our community GFR staffing, training, distribution of stations and apparatus, and prevention activities. 22 GFR s REACH Then and Now Population 50, ,000 Personnel Personnel per 1,000 Population Square Miles Personnel per Square Miles Automatic Aid Suburban Fringe Square Miles Workforce Related to Resident Population and Service Area Personnel per 1,000 Population Personnel per Square Miles LEPC participates with hazmat response team in an 12-county area protecting over 450,000 residents. RDSTF serves 7 state regions for response to weapons of mass destruction, terrorism and urban search and rescue. We are a primary responder in Region 3. USAR Task Force 8 is a three-agency task force from Gainesville, Ocala, and Marion County serving North Central Florida in urban search and rescue.

28 Fire Safety Inspections Fire Safety Inspections prevent injury, death, and property loss in our community. Over 23 million square feet of businesses were inspected last year. GFR has taught over 2,680 employees of local establishments safe crowdmanagement practices.
