1 Product Description PolyOne is a global polymer solutions provider with the ability to meet regulatory and product specifications globally and offer the widest range of polymer-specific specialty colorant and additives systems. We can provide color and additive concentrates, flame-retardant compounds, cross-linked systems, thermoplastic elastomer compounds, other specialty compounds and compounding services. PolyOne s Low Smoke and Fume, Zero Halogen (LSFOH) global platform provides ECCOH and ECCOH PF LSFOH compounds for flame-retardant applications. With sites in Europe, Asia and the U.S., these specialty compounds are available anywhere in the world. Increasingly, regulations are specifying the use of halogen-free, flame-retardant products. Low smoke and low toxicity are demanded in many markets. ECCOH compounds are used in environments where toxicity of smoke is of particular concern such as hotels, large office blocks, off-shore installations, trains, metros and ships. ECCOH PF compounds can be processed by extrusion or injection molding. Suitable applications include: coating flexible metal conduit, smooth and corrugated conduit, mini-ducts for optical fibres, and injection molding.
