5 Established in 1926, TL Jones products have enjoyed a long-standing reputation for excellence in elevator engineering. Initially manufacturing own brand elevators during the 1900s to 1940s, 1991 saw TL Jones begin its sole focus on infrared light curtains and, to this day, the TL Jones brand is renowned for safeguarding elevator doors. Since 1971, Memco products have led the way for elevator safety and communications, while at the same time, maturing into a brand that has become synonymous with trust, reliability and exceptional quality. Memco s reputation has been built on producing high quality products without compromising on innovation and excellence. TL Jones products are developed in our R&D centre in China, and manufactured at our facilities in China and India. With installations across the globe, TL Jones light curtains are found in buildings across Asia, Australasia and increasingly in other parts of the world. Researched and designed in our UK facility and manufactured in our European factory, the Memco brand s extensive range of light curtains can be found, in some of the most iconic buildings across the world. In fact, there are now more than 2 million Memco light curtains installed worldwide making Memco the world s largest supplier of light curtains.
