Schools, colleges and teams from around the United Kingdom enjoy comfortable facilities, stunning views and homemade hearty meals. Set in 250 acres of National Trust open farmland, with fine views out to sea, Celtic Camping is the ideal base for any residential trip to Pembrokeshire. With the coastal path running through the property and very own beach at the foot of the farm, adventure is never too far away. Celtic camping is home to the Mud Run, raft building and team games all on site. Local Surf beaches, climbing crags, coasteering sites and fantastic kayaking spots are just a short drive away. Bigger than the farm itself is the welcome you will experience at Celtic Camping. The kitchen team will look after all dietary requirements with their home cooked farmhouse fair. The staff will ensure you are safe and have everything you need. And Jack the dog will oversee proceedings. Nothing is too much trouble for the Celtic Camping All bunkhouse or Dormitory facilities are private to the group. Ample parking is available for mini buses, cars and coaches. And all bedding is provided for the duration of your stay.

Information provided to staff, contractors and hirers(introduction & Induction) Fire action notices posted throughout site Fire procedures posted throughout site Is there adequate signage in place? All fire exit doors are clearly marked. Fire exit signs and directional fire exit signs are indicated with a green pictogram/graphic symbol (the running person symbol BS5449). These may be seen with or without directional arrows. Signs in positions where they can be clearly seen (overprovision of signs causing confusion causing confusion should be avoided) Are all fire escape routes adequately lit? What arrangements are there for checking the emergency lighting? All escape routes are sufficiently lit for people to see their way out safety. Emergency escape lights are in place for all bunk houses 6

12 FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT (Sufficient & appropriate, check and inspect) Where is the list of fire equipment kept (e.g. extinguishers, blankets, escape aids etc) How often and by whom is the fire equipment checked? A comprehensive list kept in the fire log file. All fire fighting equipment marked on plans of bunk houses. Health and safety checks extinguishers weekly to ensure they re in place, not blocked / obscured and un tampered with. Extinguishers are inspected annually by a competent engineer. (flame fire protection) PLANNING FOR AN EMERGENCY (coordinating evacuation) Is there an emergency plan in place? Plan for raising the alarm, calling the Fire & Rescue Service and assembly point locations cascaded to building users. Fire action notices are in place and up to date. Fire action notices to be posted next to all fire alarm call points. Visitors, contractors and members of the public are considered as part of the plan. Fire drills formally reviewed to identify problems encountered and any further actions required. Recorded in fire log book. For larger groups fire wardens can play a useful role in sweeping areas of the building to ensure they have been evacuated. To be identified in the fire policy evacuation procedure with responsibility for specific areas and instruction given Access route for emergency vehicles kept clear the needs and abilities of disabled, sensory impaired and less able-bodied people being considered. Planning should take account of the needs of all occupants. It is essential to identify the abilities and needs of disabled people and make proper arrangements for their assistance Have personnel received sufficient training and/or instruction on evacuation arrangements? New employees receive instruction on the action to take in the event of a fire on their first day of employment, as part of their induction. Existing employees receive training / instruction on what to do in the event of a fire via weekly drills. Additional training / instruction provided as required. 7
