2 Introduction HESAI Hesai partnered with DJI to build the world first drone-mounted natural gas surveillance system HS This intelligent system is equipped with artificial intelligence path planning algorithms and computer vision navigation system. It requires no human intervention while executing surveillance tasks that is conventionally time-consuming and lifethreatening HS-4000 is a lightweight and highly sensitive Laser-Based Remote Methane Leak Detector. Its accuracy of detection can reach 5ppm m, and yet light enough to be mounted on a compact drone, for the first time in this industry The system takes natural gas inspection efficiency to a whole new level. The drone can cover over 1000 households in a single day, giving it an efficiency boost of at least 50 times over conventional methods

The laser beam can travel through the windows, partially absorbed by gas, and then reflected by furniture and walls, all the way back into the sensor This product is based on Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy using semiconductor laser for methane detection.
