2 Innovation is a matter of difference FAST AND EASY GAS PIPELINE SURVEY IRwin is a portable methane leak detector for easy survey of gas pipelines. It is certified intrinsically safe, with TÜV certified capability for LEL, oxygen and toxic gas measurements. The IRwin SX-models are rated explosionproof for Zone 0 applications holding several regional and national certificates. IRwin and its accessories, have been developed for mobile use in demanding conditions. In particular, its modular probe system limits the number of extra items needed to be carried by the operator during pipeline survey. Thanks to practical quick fittings, the user can always apply the correct probe for the specific working situation. The carrying system is designed for optimized ergonomics and good weight distribution. IRwin SENSOR TECHNOLOGY The integrated proprietary infrared sensor system (patents pending) has a fast reaction and short recovery time. The system prevents false leak alarms and ensures correct and fast leak evaluation. The specially developed gas chromatograph (GC) and sensor combination allows fast distinction between swamp gas and natural gas from all known natural gas sources. The GC inside IRwin gives fast test results, even at low ethane concentrations, from 1000 ppm methane leaks. 4 The modular IRwin system makes it easy to adapt to different surfaces and situations. Thanks to the fork-to-carpet locking mechanism (optional) you can easily lift the Carpet Probe over a fence. With a twist of the wrist you can turn the Carpet Probe backwards and easily search under cars or other obstacles. Walk on a curb following exactly the crack between stone and asphalt, thanks to the Mono-wheeler Carpet Probe. Easily pull the Carpet Probe behind you instead of pushing it in front of you. Stop the Carpet Probe an extra second on top of manhole covers without interrupting your walking pace.

5 Precise measurements without false alarms OPERATOR MODE BLUETOOTH INTERFACE THE IRwin INTELLIGENCE In order to avoid misleading measurements or false alarms, IRwin features an infrared sensor in combination with a special gas filter (patent pending). It even prevents interference from water vapor, ethanol or exhaust gases. Our advanced sensor technology also allows near real-time (<15 s) differentiation between swamp gas and natural gas in most cases. Very low ethane concentrations (from 0.5%) can be analyzed with the unique built-in GC.
