Each detection device will have its own zone, display its own zone status on the keypad and send separate alarm codes for each zone. Each zone is differentiated by a different resistor value. EXPANSION INPUT 1= ZONE 8 ZONE 13 INPUT 2= ZONE 9 ZONE 14 INPUT 3= ZONE 10 ZONE 15 INPUT 4= ZONE 11 ZONE 16 INPUT 5= ZONE 12 N/A INPUT 6= ZONE 13 N/A INPUT 7= ZONE 14 N/A INPUT 8= ZONE 15 N/A *A location is referred to as a section. *Value or data is referred to as an option. 1
2 HOW ENTER PROGRAM MODE: PRESS THE ENTER KEY ENTER THE INSTALLER CODE (DEFAULT: 0000). ENTER LIGHT WILL FLASH (PROMPTING A SECTION NUMBER BE ENTERED) ENTER 3 DIGIT SECTION. ENTER LIGHT WILL TURN ON SOLID (INDICATING THAT YOU ARE AT A SECTION NUMBER) ENTER DATA AS REQUIRED * PRESS CLEAR ONCE STEP BACK ENTER LIGHT FLASHING HOW PROGRAM ZONES: GET IN PROG. MODE: ENTER SECTION NUMBER (e.g : 001 = Zone 1) STEP 5: STEP 6: ENTER ONE DIGIT FROM THE ZONE DEFINITION TABLE (i.e. instant, follow {handover}, entry) ENTER ONE DIGIT FROM THE PARTITION ASSIGNMENT TABLE (you are assigning that zone to an area/partition) SELECT ONE OR MORE OPTIONS FROM THE ZONE OPTIONS TABLE (This table is a toggle ON/OFF feature.) I.e. if key 2 is on = Bypassable zone, this means it is enabled. If you want to disable it, press key 2, and the led will turn off. This disables that option.
