The range from the HQ to each RoboGuard is 400 meters. If a Repeater Station is added the range is doubled to 800 meters from the HQ to the RoboGuard. The RoboGuard system comprises of decoder panels (receives and decodes) and multiple RoboGuards (detects and transmits). The RoboGuard are installed in suitable locations throughout your property where they carry out their lifesaving mission to detect and report all intruders 24- hours a day. Each RoboGuard has an individual signature that is used by the decoder panels for identification and will identify an intruder of a specific RoboGuard by both audible and visual means. 10 RoboGuard Repeater The Repeater station is constructed from a Universal Transmitter and a Universal receiver wired together and configured correctly. The Repeater will re-transmit all Roboguard signals except Remote code received by the receiver after a user-programmed delay. Unfortunately at the moment a site is limited to 1 general repeater. It is possible to configure a selective repeater using a URX or keypad-receiver for up to 4 Roboguards or 2 Remote buttons. In this case the number of repeaters and range is theoretically unlimited (this is not recommended for the DIY enthusiast). The repeater is useful for sites where there is a large distance between the roboguards and the HQ or where there is no direct line-of-site between the guards and their HQ. The repeater will NOT work with non-roboguard products unless they communicate via a universal transmitter. The repeater requires a 12V source such as a power supply or battery-solar panel and in the case of an outdoor installation a non-metallic waterproof housing RoboGuard Keypad - R Using one of our UHF/URX (433Mhz) receivers you can link as many Keypads and Roboguard V beams to an existing alarm panel - The UHF/URX receiver substitutes the use of a HQ receiver A keypad can take up to four Roboguard V beams with individual zone tamper and supervision LED s. The keypad has six output ports that will allow you to monitor individual intruders or tamper and supervision each on a port. Although the keypad CANNOT be armed disarmed via a Roboguard remote it does provide 2 remote output ports that can be used to pulse a separate alarm system. A 2-way screw terminal is provided to connect an optional buzzer (not included) to allow you to monitor your Roboguard beams even when your alarm is turned off. Do: Do ensure that the unit s detection beams are perpendicular to the anticipated movement. Keep a minimum distance between adjoining NVX80 detectors to prevent MW cross interference, see the beam pattern diagram. Do place the unit under a roof, awning, or use our all-weather cover for an outdoor installation. Do install the within the suggested range: installing the unit lower than 2.5 meter may compromise the Pet Immunity capability, installing over 3.0 meter may require use of our

14 swivel bracket adjusted downward shifting the Pet Immunity beam and neutralizing the creep zone. Installing the unit over 3.0 meter does not affect the creep zone.
