3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR O-SWIPE GETTING STARTED INSTALLATION: Ozone electronic Safe is designed to help you protect your valuables against theft. You should BOLT the safe inside a furniture piece like cupboard, to the wall or floor and keep the codes/keys at a Safe & secret place for paramount security. 4 On Receipt of New Safe Inserting Battery The Safe will be received in open condition. Emergency Keys, Batteries, Manual & Warranty Card are provided in the polybag kept inside the safe. Insert the 4 x 1.5 V Batteries (AA Type) inside the battery compartment. Remove the cover and insert the battery and close the battery compartment. Now enter your 3 to 6 digits personal code & then press #. Four Modes to Open a Safe: A) CARD SWIPE In open position, steadily swipe the card from right to left. The Safe gets locked and the card is well registered. The display will show CLOSE To open the Safe, swipe the card right to left again, the display shows OPENED & the door will open B) USER CODE Ozone Digital Safes come with Factory Set USER code, for your security. Place the batteries and set your own user code of 3 to 6 digit & then press #. The Safe will open with a display 'OPENED'. The screen display will show CLOSED and the new code is registered successfully. To change User Code: In open position, press 3 to 6 digits of New User code & then press #. The display will show CLOSE. The new user code is now registered. C) MASTER CODE To open the Safe with Master Code: In Closed position, enter factory set Master Code The LED will display PASS9, PASS8.PASS1, and the Safe door will open immediately. To change Master Code: Enter the Master Code. The LED will display PASS9, PASS8.PASS1. Before completion of 9 second, press #, immediately enter new master code of maximum 6 digits and again press #. The display will show DONE PLEASE NOTE In case of wrong no. input, please press * to cancel. In case of wrong user code input, LED will display ERROR D) EMERGENCY KEYS In case of emergency or you forgot User Code/Master Code or batteries got weak etc, the Safe can be opened by Emergency key provided along with the Safe in the kit. When the door is opened, please take the emergency key out in time. And at the same time, the user code & master code will return back in Factory Set Codes 3

5 Note: Duplication of the emergency key is not available keeping your total security in mind. So it is advised to keep emergency keys at a protected place, but not inside the Safe itself. In case the emergency keys are lost or get damaged, please contact your local locksmith. TO CLOSE THE SAFE: Close the door and press #. LED screen will display CLOSE & the Safe door gets closed. If you open the Safe by emergency key, then you should close the door by emergency key only SECURE MODE Input of three wrong user codes can put the Safe into secure mode for 15 minutes LED will show HOLD15 till changing into HOLD01. To stop the alarm, enter the correct code or press the registered finger print. TO SET THE TIME OF SYSTEM In open position, press ** Firstly, LED will display Year-Month-Date, Time For example : , 11:45 20'am a) LED display : YE 16; ON10; DA01; HO11 IN45 SE20 On correct input, display will show GOOD. On incorrect input, display will show BUG & try again. TO CHECK THE OPENING RECORDS In open position, press ** Display will show record. Now begin to check the opening records. To go forward, press button 4 and to go backwards, press button 6. To exit, do not press any key in next 10 seconds. Each opening record is displayed on four screens. First screen will display the mode of opening and the number of opening records. The date of opening record is displayed on the second screen & the time of opening records is displayed on the third screen. U Open by User Code b Open by CEU E Open by Emergency Key For example: 001C is displayed on the first screen which means first opening record and opening the door by user code. After 3s, is displayed on the second screen which means Year 2016, OCTOBER, 1st. After 3s, is displayed on the third screen which means 11:45 20 seconds, AM.
