10 Case Study... Rotherham Council, South Yorkshire, UK The council put out a tender in 2011 for the installation and maintenance of a fully networked and centrally managed access control system. EuroComs were awarded the contract based on our proposal to use the Paxton Net2 System. Net2 is an advanced PC based access control solution which can managed hundreds of doors for up to 10,000 users. Net2 is one of the most economical access control systems on the market used for three main requirements; Central control, Flexible access permissions and Reporting.

When the fire alarm is activated, all the door automatically releases and BMS system shuts down heating, cooling and lighting when the last person leaves site. EuroComs trained the ICT staff how to use the system and manage the user fobs, codes and ID passes. Overall the installation was a success and EuroComs to continue to maintain the system on a 3 year contract.
