2 System Design... Effective design of a CCTV system is crucial to the outcome of your end system. EuroComs have inhouse CCTV design teams that use the latest CCTV design software to demonstrate and calculate area coverage, angels, lens type, lighting and detector location. EuroComs can design 1 1,000 camera systems, utilising the latest technology from Sony, Samsung, Mobotix, Pelco, Panasonic, Sanyo and Dedicated Micros, the leading CCTV manufacturers, to get the best solution for you.

3 Installation... EuroComs CCTV engineers have worked throughout Europe on some of the largest hotels, hospitals, supermarkets and airports. Our engineers are trained to the highest standards and are fully experienced and qualified to implement your CCTV system. EuroComs are working towards ISO:9001 quality standards our clients and future clients can always be assured of a quality service incorporating technology with excellent service. We also have security cleared engineers for the more data sensitive systems.

4 Maintenance... The maintenance of any security system is crucial. CCTV maintenance can be preventive and corrective. Preventive maintenance is done with the purpose of avoiding system problems from taking place and keep it functioning well and error free. EuroComs maintenance includes a 4-hour UK wide response for all 50% or more system failures and 8- hour response for all other issues. We carry out routine maintenance checks on a quarterly basis to ensure all our systems are running as smoothly and as efficiently as possible.

In addition to test documentation, EuroComs will also supply warranties and installation as fitted drawings in CAD format. All our installations include fully manufacturer backed warranty and one years maintenance.

6 Training... Over 30 per cent of CCTV end users have not been trained by their installer on how to get the best out of their CCTV system. And over 50 per cent of endusers have not received training from equipment manufacturers. EuroComs will not sign-off the installation until we are content the end-users have the ability to get the most from their system. 11 Case Study... Bradfield Academy, Sheffield, UK. EuroComs was awarded the CCTV design and installation as part of a 25 million contract by Sheffield City Council to build the School as part of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. EuroComs determined the best solution would be IP based, given that the School was having a complete new ICT solution which comprised a Category 6 network. Our chosen manufacturer for the installation was Mobotix by Excel Networks. Mobotix offer a highdefinition range of Ipcameras. The primary benefit

In total, EuroComs installed 36 vari-focal lens Mobotix cameras throughout the School, with internal area coverage at 93% and perimeter coverage of 100%. Thanks to their unlimited scalability and high performance, MOBOTIX cameras are suitable both for large facilities like schools and, given their integrated event, storage, alarm and telephony functions, for smaller business and private premises.

13 Case Study... Walkers Chocolates, Birmingham, UK. EuroComs were contracted to design and install a CCTV system for Walkers Chocolates international warehouse distribution centre. EuroComs opted to use Sony PTZ high-speed dome cameras and a Dedicated Micros (DM) DVR. The cameraswerechosenbasedonthehdlensandhigh speed PTZ control. The DM DVR chosen offers ease of setup and the ability for Walkers to view images externally over the internet and allows EuroComs partner, CAMWATCH, to monitor Walkers site out-ofhours. The customer also required the ability to control the

The built in software that DM has offers a user-friendly PTZ control screen, simply click the direction and zoom with a standard mouse. EuroComs also setup roaming CCTV of the external warehouse with PIR sensors to monitor heat and movement. This offers a very cash-sensitive solution to giving 100% area coverage with only two cameras over an area of approximately 80m2. EuroComs continue to maintain the system and have since been contracted to extend the CCTV network to another Walkers plant in Manchester.
