3 Vetting Procedures We operate a comprehensive staff screening process in accordance with BS7499 and BS7858 and are UKAS approved for these standards, for which we obtain 10-year employment vetting, personal references, perform passport checks and obtain two proofs of residential address. This process is complimented by the SIA licensing remit which incorporates a mandatory criminal record check. In addition, for high risk sites such as educational establishments we obtain enhanced CRB checks. "All our staff undergo a comprehensive screening process" SIA Accreditation Since March 2006, the newly formed Security Industry Authority (SIA) in the Private Security Act 2001 has commissioned the licensing of all security officers working within the industry.this quasi-autonomous non-governmental office has set standards of training and professionalism which many security firms will not be able to comply with. We are extremely proud of our SIA Accreditation and understand the importance of this to our clients. Having become an approved contractor within the first phase of this new initiative, AA Security are considered to be pioneers and among the elite top 10% of the security industry. "Meeting and exceeding Industry Standards" Training In addition to the mandatory 4 day Basic Job training and Conflict Management training stipulated by the SIA, all staff are progressed through the professional Security Officer NVQ Level II course. Operatives will also undergo client specific Health and safety training including CITB CRO certification, Rail Industry (PTS) and London Underground (SIS) courses prior to contract assignment. Guard Services AA Security is highly experienced in guard personnel, providing cover 24-hours a day, 365-days a year. Our uniformed officers in liveried patrol vehicles will visit and inspect premises at regular or random intervals to match your specific requirements - regardless of whether this is a long-term requirement, single event or emergency staff at very short notice. Using the latest communications systems, our officers provide a prompt and efficient response to the protection of property against intruders and unwanted visitors. Our objective is to provide the highest level of manned guarding services in the most cost effective manner. 5 Keyholding Service We can also help lift the burden of responsibility where registered keyholders are required to respond to alarm systems and break-ins. Our network of vetted and trained keyholders are available to rapidly respond to alarm activations. In the event of an alarm activation our keyholders will attend, liaise with the Police, alarm companies and repair contractors to re-secure your premises. This means you will only ever have to be disturbed in the most serious of cases. "Security without the hassle" Access Control The management of access and egress and the recognition of potential risks in all areas are key to successful security operations. Our team are able to install and control the whole range of access control systems, ranging from pin coded single door entry through to computer controlled swipe card systems. Dog Handling Our professional patrol dog unit has been established for over four years. During this time we have achieved NASDU inspected status and BIPDT certification. Our training is carried out by qualified BIPTD and NASDU Trainers.We ourselves are members of both organisations for your added benefit. Our dogs and handlers are formally trained to a higher standard than basic accreditation level.this includes advanced practical and theoretical knowledge leading to a practical and written examination. As part of our commitment to NASDU, our staff and clients we ensure that regular monthly contribution training is provided to all our patrol dogs and trainers. Further to this all patrol dogs and ex-security dog handlers are re-evaluated and examined annually. Environmentally Secure AA Security has a strong ethical commitment to sustainable development and the environment. To support this ethic we have subscribed to a regular external audit through our BS EN ISO accreditation. Through assistance of the London Borough of Redbridge and the Energy Savings Trust, we have secured a grant for the installation of solar panels which will now provide 65% of our electricity consumption - therefore not only helping us to reduce emissions but at the same time enabling us to continue to operate should the national grid fail. This, and other environmental/social initiatives, has seen our company achieve an award for corporate work within the community at the recent Docklands Business Club and East London Chamber Awards. 6 Control Room AA Security operates a fully integrated computerised control centre and incident reporting facility which is manned 24 hours a day days a year. The system utilises a pin-code log specific to the site and employee which records security officer arrival and departure to client premises. In addition to this, our control centre operators undertake calls every hour to ensure the safety of lone workers - plus random safety check calls are made to encourage staff on duty. This is backed up by emergency mobile patrollers who report back to the control centre at all times to ensure constant coverage and the ultimate levels in security. All control centre staff have at least 3 years experience and undergo training at our own City & Guilds training and examination centre.the computerised system at the heart of our control centre can produce detailed reports which enable us to improve and enhance security coverage at any given time. Clients can access this system via the Internet at any time, giving them both peace of mind and the feeling of being in control of their security. In addition, clients can be provided with a patrol management system which enables them to observe patrols undertaken in real time. Accreditations AA Security not only believes in established accreditation systems but actively works towards attaining those that really help us to deliver a better service to our clients. In addition to our UKAS approved BS EN 9000: 2002 accreditation we have gained Security Watchdog Gold Membership under their Silver Fox programme that subjects us to covert penetration visits - the reports from which can be forwarded to clients at request. We are also full members of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. Our commitment however is more wide ranging and includes accreditation to the Jobcentres Two Tick symbol. Furthermore, to benchmark our quality standards we submit ourselves to regular audit through external holistic business awards.
