HOTEL GRINNELL The catering options here at Hotel Grinnell are sure to take your event to the next level. Whether starting the day off right with a hearty breakfast, indulging in mid-afternoon snacks, or satisfying your cravings with a sumptuous dinner buffet, your guests will be delighted with our in-house catering options. Use our in-house catering team who stand ready to create custom menus to meet your needs and tastes. Or, use your own caterer if you prefer. Local Caterers You are welcome to use your own outside caterer. Only licensed, insured food service providers may cater events at Hotel Grinnell. Three months prior to the event, we must have a copy of caterer s food license from the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals, as well as Certificate of Insurance naming Hotel Grinnell as an additional insured. If you use an ouside caterer, there is a $4.50 outside catering fee per person for dinner, and $2.50 fee per person for breakfast and lunch. This fee includes full place setting, tables, chairs and full use of banquet kitchen including holding cabinet, cold storage and use of dish washing equipment.
