To keep track of the progress of any potential employee s a number of vigorous checks are made to confirm that details are supplied are correct in accordance with BS7858 : No applicant will gain employment with U.S.G. if they have been convicted of any criminal offence. Applicants are subject to a criminal records bureau (CRB) check All U.S.G security personnel undergo a thorough Security Industry Training induction course, plus continuous on-site training with 24 hour back-up including regular visits from mobile supervisors. Security personnel also receive additional training in accordance with the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

With years of experience the CP teams have established a proven and reliable record of assessment and covert counter-measures. 5 ALARM RESPONSE, CCTV & MONITORING DIVISON We provide a wide range of services to ensure that our products are fully integrated into your business structure. We tailor each project to make sure you and your home or business get the most out of our CCTV facilities. Our CCTV installations are increasingly used across the country, to help with crowd control, deter crime and provide evidence that can bring law-breakers to justice or just to give you the client peace of mind. The system we use is digital and analog technology to allow both you and us to view, record and control a CCTV system via a DVR or PC, using your existing IP computer network. As our CCTV Monitoring and manned Guard Control Rooms are supervised 24 hours a day, you are guaranteed a response from our highly trained staff and patrol units, often accompanied by specialised guard dogs. Engineers are readily available to attend any emergency calls in and out of normal working hours. We have patrol units out on the ground 24hrs a day 365 days a year we can always respond to a call out immediately ensuring we provide the service that you the Client expects and deserves.

6 MOBILE PATROL & KEY HOLDING DIVISION MOBILE PATROL We at U.S.G. carry out visits and checks on many premises at irregular intervals and unspecified times, particularly during the silent hours, weekends and holiday periods. This shared service provides customers with a uniformed mobile security guard equipped with two-way radio and in constant contact with the control center. The activities of our mobile patrols are controlled by a system which not only ensures its efficiency and effectiveness but also gives customers detailed reports confirming that the patrol unit has made his visits and rounds of inspection in the proper manner. A patrol unit s main function is to act as a deterrent against would be thefts or vandals. The effectiveness of the patrol service depends greatly upon the number and frequencies of vists. This can be adjusted according to the area and risk to the individual property. Mobile Security Officers carry out visits to those sites not requiring a permanent security presence. These visits are particularly useful in the early detection of crime or vandalism and also to check temperatures, boilers and processers etc., contacting emergency contacts as necessary. Vehicle Patrol is available for larger sites that require a larger area to be patrolled. All of our patrol vehicles are uniformed with door decals which identify it as a security patrol & response unit. We have trained officers to drive the patrol units with care. Our SIA licensed door-staff are highly trained in weapon and drug detection and crowd control. The true function of doorman/staff is to provide access control for a nightclub and screen those that enter. A doorman is the person who stands at the entrance and checks identification to ensure that each person meets the age requirements to legally enter the establishment shment and is dressed appropriately and is not impaired by alcohol or drugs. The duty of our door supervisor is to monitor the crowd inside and outside the venue and to see that everyone behaves. Our goal is to see that everyone has a very safe and enjoyable time. Our door-staff are personable, friendly and are also able to talk to people without appearing too threatening or intimidating. The mere presence of door-staff will remind the patron that their conduct is being scrutinised. door supervisor will manage the patrons inside your venue and will make sure no one becomes overly aggressive and spoils the mood. Anyone fighting or causing trouble will be ejected. Anyone selling, dealing or taking drugs will be handed over to the police or ejected. Our door supervisors will evenly and fairly enforce the rules of the venue if necessary.
