Student informed officer she had been hit by a motor vehicle off campus and the vehicle failed to stop and render aid. Alamo Heights PD was notified as accident happened in their jurisdiction. LOPEZ 11/01/ :25 AM Report Synopsis : UIWPD dispatched to the Agnese Sosa for a vehicle with a door open. Vehicle was owned by a UIW Student. Nothing was taken. UIW student forgot to close the door. WORD : ADMINISTRATION/COLBERT HALL : Floor 1 INSIDE OF CHAPEL R. VILLARREAL Report Synopsis : UIW Staff Smelled a burnt odor coming form the Chapel in the Administration building. Elevator became fully functional and the students were able to exit the elevator. EMS was not needed. WORD : Dubuis Hall : Floor L. THOMAS 11/06/ :38 PM Report Synopsis : UIWPD was dispatch to Dubuis for possible burnt smell of marijuana coming from the 1st floor between rooms of the residents building. Was unable to locate what room the marijuana smell was coming from, nothing was found. WORD : ICC UPPER HILDEBRAND EXIT GATE P. SCOTT Report Synopsis : Walk up to UIW PD from a UIW Faculty member wanting to report that while she was exiting the upper Hildebrand gate she was verbally berated by an officer conducting traffic. WORD : JOYCE BUILDING REAR OF THE BUILDING J. LOPEZ Report Synopsis : UIWPD dispatched to a suspicious grey box behind the Joyce Building. Box belonged to electrical department for light the way. CARRASCO Report Synopsis : UIWPD was dispatched to 7th floor of Agnese Sosa in regards to an individual who were on the patio. AYALA 11/09/2017 4:42 PM 11/09/2017 9:00 PM Report Synopsis : UIWPD dispatched to a severe water leak at Hortencia's Cafe. PD found source of water leak and shut off water. WORD : Baseball Field - North ROADWAY BETWEEN BASEBALL FIELD AND HEADWATERS P. SCOTT 11/11/2017 9:05 PM Report Synopsis : UIW Police Department officer observed vehicle driven by Central Arkansas athletic dept. lose control of a trailer that it was pulling after it went over a speed bump. Tow truck was called to assist in placing trailer back on vehicles hitch no one was injured. WORD : LOT BEHIND BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL FIELDS D. LOPEZ 11/11/2017 9:30 PM Report Synopsis : While patrolling the University of the Incarnate Word campus I saw a vehicle parked behind the softball field that I recognized from the previous night. The vehicle had seemed to roll forward. I did a walk around the vehicle and checked the doors to see if they were locked. The doors were open and the keys were on the driver side floor board. The keys were taken to dispatch and I left a note on the door for the owner to contact the Police Department. Page 11 of 27

CARRASCO Report Synopsis : UIWPD was dispatched to Mc Combs in regards to a female student who wanted to report loud yelling between a male and a female coming from next door. Contact was made with individual who showed no signs of self harm or any intentions, individual was just upset. WORD : McCombs Center/Garage : Floor 5 SKYROOM P. SCOTT Report Synopsis : Call into UIWPD in regards to smell of smoke within the skyroom vestibule area. Once on sight I did smell a faint sent of smoke within the vestibule area that seemed to becoming from the vents as if a heater was just turned on. Fire and safety was notified and no audible was alarm was activated.
