3 1 Requirements and price list (Annex A) Quotations need to be submitted by using the Requirements and Price List contained in Annex A. 2 Eligibility Bidders must not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by UNOPS to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods under this request for quotation. Bidders must not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices published by UNOPS on its website. Bidders must meet the eligibility criteria as published on the UNOPS website. 3 Currency All prices shall be quoted in (insert mandatory bidding currency in symbol and words). UNOPS reserves the right not to reject any bids submitted in another currency than the mandatory bidding currency stated above. UNOPS may accept bids submitted in another currency than stated above if the bidder confirms during clarification of bids (1.18) in writing that it will accept a contract issued in the mandatory bid currency and that for conversion the official United Nations operational rate of exchange of the day of RFQ deadline as stated in the RFQ letter shall apply. Regardless of the currency of bids received, the contract will always be issued and subsequent payments will be made in the mandatory bidding currency above. 4 Evaluation UNOPS evaluates quotations based on lowest priced most technically acceptable quotation received. 5 Delivery (for goods) All items shall be delivered by 25/06/2014 and shipped to UNICEF Warehouse Khartoum - Soba 6 Mobilization and duration (for services) Service provision shall commence 5 calendar days after contract signature. The successful supplier is expected to complete the services by 07July Quotations due All quotations must be received at the address stated below no later than: Date: (25/6/2014) Time: (time and time zone) SDPCbidsRFQ@unops.org Contact person: Samual Hassan Quotations submitted shall be binding and valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the due date stated herein. Any prices accepted during this period will be considered firm/fixed for the resulting purchase order. UNOPS v of 5

4 UNOPS will award this requirement in total and will not accept any partial quotations. The supplier agrees to acknowledge the purchase order in the form provided upon award, under the terms and conditions stated therein, and for the agreed amount. 8 UNOPS General Conditions of Contract Any order resulting from this RFQ exercise will be subject to the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract available for goods, small services and services at the following addresses: Goods.pdf Clarifications Suppliers with questions or requests for more information are encouraged to send them to the address above promptly in order to allow time for the provision of a written response. Explanations or interpretations provided by personnel other than the above will not be considered binding or official. 10 Quotation form (Annex B) The attached Quotation Form needs to be completed and signed. 5 ANNEX A Requirements and price list The following documents form part of this RFQ and must be completed and returned with your offer: Includes, Supply of Material, Construction, Commissioning & warranty for one year. Rate Item Description Unit Qty (.) 1 Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 1Microprocessor based addressable fire alarm control panel. FACP shall have capacity to look up to 120 wireless or BUS hardwired zones. FACP shall have 2 x 40 character LCD alphanumeric display with backlight, fully (100%) programmable disablement. Test, sounder fault, delayed mode, relays disabled, earth fault, system/cpu fault, sounder disabled. Alarm silenced, supply fault, power etc. It shall be provided with required capacity of maintainable free sealed acid batteries to provide 18 hours (Including 30 mins in alarm condition). FACP Loop shall have built in GSM/GPRS and LAN communicator on the board offering communication by voice, SMS or GPRS to end users or to ARC centres. Up to 30 users should have the option of voice and SMS reporting and should have a 1 GB memory card on the board for saving event reports, a voice menu and messages, storage of pictures and more. System shall be designed as per the technical specification. PCS 1 2 Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Wireless access module with display, keypad and RFID. The module should have two way wireless access module with an LCD display, a keypad and an RFID reader for security system control. The module includes one control segment and can be equipped with up to 20 control segments. The implemented function of a radio activation by a Radio Wake up input (SRW) allows for the automatic interruption of sleep mode in a set system during the entrance delay. The module should be powered by batteries battery life: 2 year, communication range: up to 200 metres (in an open area), PCS 1 3 Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Control segment for access modules to allows the user to easily control functions in the alarm system: common segment, partition control, call up events and status indication. PCS 8 4 Supply, Erection, Testing Commissioning of Addressable Wireless smoke detector with multiple sensitivity( adjustable at site) levels, programmable for timed automatic sensitivity selection with base, Junction box and other accessories as required and Detectors shall be UL listed. PCS 62 5 Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning of Wireless outdoor siren base with electronics, giving output of 110 db/m with backup battery (4.8 V / 1800 mah) with approx. 3 years lifetime, communication range up to 300 m (open area), the siren shall be of wall mounted type. PCS 12 6 Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning of manual call point. PCS 6 Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning of Bus interface devise for wireless components to connect wireless devices such as detectors, to the security 7 system. For complete coverage of the warehouse area PCS 3 Supply, Testing, Commissioning of 50kg Powder Wheeled Fire Extinguisher. With external CO2 pressure cylinder allows users quicker activation, rubber all terrain wheels for easy maneuverability, self supporting stand helping to 8 maintain the integrity of the unit, supplied with 5 metre hose as standard.
