4 Premium Begonias Baby Wing Series Begonia x hybrida Hort The hybrid Baby Wing begonia has luscious, shiny green leaves and abundant flowers in loose clusters year round in warm climates. It was derived from the larger Dragon Wing begonia and is an upright, mounding plant from the Baby Wing series, it is tolerant of both sun and shade exposures, heat and drought, and is perfect as a bedding plant or in containers and hanging baskets. Grows up to 18 tall and 24 wide. Red BIG Series Begonia x benariensis Large 2-3" flowers are held above the leaves for maximum show and can reach a height of 20 and 15 wide. The bronze foliage adds vibrancy and contrast to the striking red or rose colored flowers. 8 Geraniums Pelargonium x hortorum Geraniums boast spectacular displays of 4 to 5 diameter flower clusters composed of small florets arranged in a half sphere. Geraniums benefit from full sun and moderate to rich, well-drained, moist soil. Incorporate a slow-release fertilizer into the soil at planting time. In flower beds, space them inches apart and avoid overwatering. Geraniums are used as a colorful groundcover on slopes and lawns and they are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes. Grows tall and wide. 9 Calliope Series Pelargonium interspecific Calliope represents a new class of geraniums after 14 years of breeding. 10 Kalanchoe Kalanchoe blossfeldiana Kalanchoe is a succulent herb of the jade plant family (Crassulaceae) from Madagascar. Plants produce upright stems and grow to a foot tall. 11 Marigolds Durango Series Tagetes patula The highest quality anemone-type marigolds. Durangos deliver more blooms, stronger stems, and better uniformity than other marigolds of this type. Extra large, 2-2 1/2 solid and bicolor blooms are yellow, gold, orange and mahogany-red. The plants are drought and disease tolerant. Plant in full sun. 15 Sun Harmony New Guinea Impatiens These hybrid New Guinea Impatiens out-bloom regular New Guinea impatiens in hot and humid climates. They are crossed between New Guinea species and others from southeast Asia. Much better performers than regular New Guinea impatiens. Sun Harmony s grow similar to Sunpatiens in habit and size. 19 Snapdragons Sonnet Series Antirrhinum majus nanum F1 Sonnet Snapdragons are a taller variety that makes beautiful backdrops for shorter plants. Snapdragons do best when the weather is cool but will stop blooming when the weather gets hot. When it cools off again they resume blooming. These lightly scented flowers will attract butterflies. Requires full sun. Grows tall and 12 wide. Not available until Dec. 2nd. Crimson Orange Rose Yellow Milkweed Silky Series Asclepias curassavica A must for attracting butterflies as Asclepias is the sole food source for Monarch caterpillars. With three-inch long clusters these summer flowers are displayed against yellow-green lance-shaped leaves. This well-behaved selection needs little attention and mixes beautifully with other tall perennials. Once established, they only need occasional watering but more often during extreme heat. 22 Vinca Valiant Series Catharanthus roseus Superior vigor allows Valiant vinca in landscapes to better survive environmental stresses such as sun, heat, drought, salt and cool/damp conditions. Low maintenance with good landscape longevity. Valiant is a very wellbranched, heavy-blooming plant that grows 14 to 20 high and wide. Grows in full sun. Vinca will need to be mulched to prevent splashing water that can spread disease such as Aerial Phytophthora.
