Domestic Special Prize Best Exhibit in Domestic Section LILLIAN ARNOLD CUP =============================================================== RULES 1. Entrance fees shall be 20p per class except for the Composite Classes, Top Vase and Vegetable Class 28 that shall be 50p. 2. NOVICE: An exhibitor who has not previously won 1st prize in the same section of this Show 3. All exhibits must be grown by the exhibitor upon land in his own occupation and must have been in his possession from 1st July. The Committee reserve the right to inspect any competitor's garden. No exhibitor to have more than two entries per class 4. THE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ENTRY. 5. The Judges' decision shall be final as to merit, but should a complaint be made, it shall be decided by the Committee, whose decision shall be final. All objections must be made to the Secretary, in writing, before 3.30pm on the day of the Show, accompanied by a deposit of 1, which will be returned if the objection is sustained. The Judges will not be bound to award a prize in any class where they do not consider the exhibits deserving of one. 6. All exhibits must be staged NOT LATER THAN 10am on the morning of the Show, at which time the Hall will be closed to all except the Judges and those appointed by the Committee. This time will be strictly adhered to and any exhibit touched after the hour has been announced will be disqualified. 7. All cut flowers shall be in vases. All vases must be supplied by the exhibitor. 8. No exhibitor will be allowed to remove any exhibit from the Show before 4.30pm without special permission from the Secretary. 9. Exhibitors infringing any of these rules will be disqualified and all show money and entrance fees forfeited. 10. The Committee, whilst taking every precaution to prevent any loss or damage to exhibits, do not hold themselves responsible for same. 11. All trophies to be held for one year only. They must be returned by 1st August of the succeeding year. Recipients are responsible for the safe custody of their trophy or trophies. 12. The Committee does not accept responsibility for personal injury. 13. Points will be awarded as follows: 1st Prize 5 points 2nd Prize, 3 points, 3rd Prize 1 point.
