3 SOIL BALANCE MODE OF ACTION Immediately after application, Soil Balance microbes (top left picture) colonize the plant root zone or rhizosphere. The microbes will multiply into the trillions on the root in under 48 hours. If small carbon particles are available in the rhizosphere, they will be turned into microscopic insoluble humus particles within 10 to 15 days. We recommend additives of carbon as a food source. This carbon will form a layer or biofilm around the root which holds moisture and contains bio available nutrients. The microbes found in Soil Balance are saprophytes which means they break down carbon and turn it into humus, much like an earth worm only much faster. This composting process is called mineralization and it happens all around your plant roots when inoculated with SC27 microbe strains. This allows water to be reduced in 10 to 15 days and is a major factor in macro/micro nutrient absorption and root biomass increases which result in yield increases. 3 Artificial medias have organic matter that is of a large particle size. For example peat moss, compost have large pieces of carbon that take time to break down and turn into nutrients for our microbe strains. Therefore the addition of BHA, (Brown Humic Acid) that is water soluble (bottom left picture) which contains fulvics is an initial particle size we can colonize in the rhizosphere. The addition of a small carbon particle will increase the speed of colonization and your results. The rapid formation of humus is accomplished only by the combination of the 62 microbes found in Soil Balance. They create a proprietary and one of a kind combination of enzymes and chemicals which enable carbon to be broken down and digested faster than any other microbe combination on the planet.
4 SOIL BALANCE PROFESSIONAL FORMULATION APPLICATION RATES A APPLICATION & RATES 4 RATE 10 grams grams per 500 sq ft. Higher rate (20g) is better if budgets allow. Tank Mix in carrier apply evenly on top of soil, water in. Apply SOIL BALANCE at 10 grams per 500 square feet or 20 grams per 1000 square feet. (10 grams = 0.35 oz.) Efficacy with SB will work with out a food source, however for faster results: The day before introducing SB microbes (24 hours), apply a Brown Humic Acid (BHA) derived from Leonardite. Make sure Humic Acid is water soluble. (ph 6.8 or above is best) Do not tank mix Humic Acid with Soil Balance. Other carbon sources such as molasses & Sea Minerals may be used in addition to Brown Soluble Humic Acid. Pour Entire Contents of Soil Balance (10 grams) into 10 or 20 gallons of water After adding Soil Balance (SB) to water carrier, stir into a vortex for 10 minutes. Make sure no material settles to the bottom. Make sure contents is fully absorbed into water carrier. Mixed solution can be broadcast sprayed on top of pots or introduced thru a drip system or included in transplant water. Make sure the water carrier of 10 to 20 gallons is EVENLY distributed to each plant at an equal ratio. It is important that SB is introduced evenly and uniformly. Water in SB immediately after application for 2 to 5 days. Use a higher amount of water than normal but do not over water or flood. 5 days after initial application reduce water usage by 100% until medium becomes dry for a period of 12 to 24 hours. Then return to normal watering protocols.
5 SOIL BALANCE PROFESSIONAL FORMULATION TIMING & PESTICIDES 5 RATE 15 grams grams per 500 sq ft. Higher TIP rate (30g) is better if budgets Do not use allow. Systemic Tank Mix fungicides in carrier when using apply SB. evenly Contact top of fungicides soil, water are in. acceptable. FOR COMPREHENSIVE SOIL AND PLANT HEALTH USE SOIL BALANCE ON ENTIRE GROWING AREA. T TIMEFRAMES & PESTICIDES SOIL BALANCE (SB) can be applied at any time during the crop cycle to established and new crops. New growth and soil health results will be realized in 7 to 10 days. For optimum results, use SB a minimum of 2 times (2 applications) per crop cycle, 30 to 45 days apart. PESTICIDES & IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES Do not tank mix Soil Balance with Pesticides or fertilizers. Do not apply systemic fungicides or fumigants while using Soil Balance. If Systemic fungicides or fumigants are needed, re apply Soil Balance after chemical efficacy has reduced. Systemic Fungicides will kill Soil Balance microbes living on plant roots and eliminate product efficacy. Herbicides, insecticides, contact fungicides (not systemic) and nematicides may be used 5 days before or after applying Soil Balance. It is imperative to triple wash tanks with water only (no soap) before adding Soil Balance into spray tanks or injection systems.
6 PRODUCT INFORMATION ABOUT SOIL BALANCE 6 1. Soil Balance (SB) is 100% organic and contains no GMO s. SB has no re entry period. SB is a wettable powder formulation comprised of 62 proprietary microbe strains with a comprehensive and integrated mode of action. SB has a 1.5 year shelf life after opened. Do not leave SB in excessive heat or temperatures over 100 degrees. After adding SB to a water carrier mix vigorously for 5 to 10 minutes in a vortex. SB has been refined for use on hydroponic and artificial medias. On a microscopic level, the spacing between soil aggregates in a natural soil environment is very tight. Therefore it is much easier for SB soil microbes to colonize and create webs. In artificial medias and hydroponic growing systems the physics is different and the spacing is much further apart making it much more difficult for our microbes to create webs and build humus. For this reason, SB is our highest concentration to date and formulated with more saprophytic organisms specifically designed to break down un decomposed organic matter in the growing medium and colonize the root faster than other products. Soil Balance Professional Formulation represents a scientific break thru in the field of advanced soil microbiology and soil inoculation.
