2 Native Flowers appear the earliest in spring of all native evergreen rhododendron species, often in early April just as new foliage is expanding on the same plant.the most common flower color is a pale lavender-pink but darker purples and white forms do exist. Wojner s Purple Compact in habit and exceptional in hardiness, this hybrid selection bears large clusters of showy purple blooms in mid-spring. The wideflaring, wavy-edged, funnel-shaped blossoms have a red-purple center and black-blotched upper lobe. Rounded form dense deep-green foliage. Perennials Agastache Blue Fortune Large spikes laden with soft powder blue flowers, are held over fragrant foliage for months on end. Montgomery Large, full trusses of dark red plumes and green foliage that emerges bronze in spring. Good in pots and tubs. Nice colorful landscape accent and mass planting in moist areas, such as around pools.
3 Crocosmia George Davidson Many consider the best yellow crocosmia, for the radiance of its golden yellow blossoms, their size, and their plentiful numbers. The plants are easy to grow, reach 16 inches or more in height, and bloom from late summer into the fall. Flowers are carried on slender stems, excellent for cutting. Fern Autumn fern Japanese Holly Japanese Painted Fern Also known as Japanese Shield fern, Japanese Wood fern. It is best growing in light woodland shade on low mountains or hills. It is most successful in moist, humus-rich soil, with a ph range of 6.1 to 7.5, with morning or late afternoon sunshine but not during the middle of the day. Generally, these ferns do not exceed 3 feet in height and width. Popular for its hardiness and handsome foliage, this fern makes an excellent groundcover or border edging in shady locations. Stiff, erect dark green shiny fronds of holly-like leaflets with coarsely fringed margins. Adds great texture to container plantings. Evergreen in mild winter climates. Deciduous fern that slowly forms a clump; not aggressive; prefers partial shade and moist, organic, rich soil; easy to grow; best color when grown in light shade; excess sunlight washes out the color. Mature height inches. It has frons of maroon, medium green and silvery gray. Tassel Lustrous shiny leaf fern adds an elegant look to shaded gardens. Particularly beautiful when new fronds emerge stiffly, then droop backwards to form a tassel. Beautiful in masses for groundcover, especially under flowering shrubs. Herbaceous perennial. Hemerocallis

Caramel An apricot-hued foliage that grows up to 12 inches tall and 20 inches wide. Pink flowers appear in spring. The gold-caramel is further enhanced with red undersides to the leaf. This plant performs well in both garden beds and containers, or as a groundcover when planted en masse. Hucherella Buttered Rum Warm coppery tones Attractive, rounded maple leaf shaped foliage is glossy and appealing all season. Cool weather brings a lovely rose red transformation. White flower sprays in early summer. Spills nicely over the edges of a container. Golden Zebra Dramatic and bold foliage of bright yellow marked with dark red. Tall white wands of flowers emerge in late spring. Gold Zebra is also noted for its tolerance of heat and humidity. Attracts Butterflies, and Hummingbirds
