ENTRY FEE $2.00 Payment can be made by cheque( made to HDAA) Credit Card or cash ONLY. BENCHING: Thursday 4th May between 1.00pm & 6.00pm. ONLY JUDGING - Thursday, 4 th May from 6.00pm No person, other than Judges and Official Stewards, will be permitted into the Horticultural area during judging. The Judge s decision is final. COLLECTION: Entries are to be collected between 4.30 and 5.00pm Sunday 7th May, or between 10.00am & 2.00pm Monday, 8th May. The Pavilion closes to the Public at 5.00pm on Show Sunday. PRIZES: 1st $5.00, 2nd $3.00 unless otherwise stated, plus ribbons & cards as stated. Trophies as stated (please collect from the Chief Steward at the end of the Show). Ribbons for all Junior Exhibitors. (Collect from Steward at the show) Prize vouchers should be collected from the Steward and presented for payment either during the Show or during Office Hours before 31st May, All fees & prizes include GST. Points for Most Successful Exhibitor are - 1st 2, 2nd 1. In case of equal points, the exhibitor with the most 1st places will be the winner. Exhibits not so marked, unless they are seedlings and are labeled as such, will be ineligible to compete unless approved by the Chief Steward or Judge. If unsure of the plant name please consult the Stewards. Exhibits will be judged under the Rules and Regulations of the RHS Guide and Standard Reference Book which can be referred to at the Show Office, by contacting the Chief Steward or the Royal Horticultural Society of NSW. Exhibitors shall comply with the following provisions: a) That exhibits of cut blooms or other cut plant material were grown by the exhibitor either at his/her place of residence or on land regularly under his/her control for the growing of plants. b) Plants growing in containers must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor and must have been in the possession of the exhibitor for a period of not less than six (6) calendar months prior to the date of entry. No exhibit is to exceed 50cm. This regulation will not apply to entries in the Decorative Classes. c) Plants in containers with oiled, waxed or artificially treated foliage and/or flowers shall be disqualified. Dirty or unsuitable containers will have penalty points deducted.

2 SALES: Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES shall exhibitors canvass orders or place For Sale signs on plants. Persons wishing to sell their exhibits or related products MUST have prior approval from the HDAA Secretary and the Chief Steward of the Section. 10% Commission plus GST will be charged on all sales. Where approval is granted, a list of sale items and prices is to be lodged with the Chief Steward. Sold Items may NOT be collected before 4.30pm on the Sunday of the Show. EXPLANATION OF TERMS: Distinct (Dis.). Each bloom must be a different variety from the other. Not Necessarily Distinct NND). Two (2) or more blooms may be of the same variety. Novice is an exhibitor who has never won a first prize in Open Competition. AV means any variety ROSES. For staging (stem length etc), refer to the Horticultural Guide & Standard Reference Book.
