1 Daventry & District U3A Newsletter September 2018 Please share this Newsletter with members who do not have facilities. - Thank you Dear Members It was good to see so many of you enjoying the sunny afternoon of our Garden Party at Daventry Golf Club last. Everyone I have spoken to agreed that it was a great success. You can find photos of the event on our webpage and also on our facebook page Daventry U3a. Thanks to everyone who helped make the afternoon go with a swing. There is a lot of interest in having a talk on cybercrime so we will be making arrangements to do this in the near future. The Wetherspoon's coffee mornings will be resuming on 27th September every Fourth in the. These are a great way to meet and chat with other members. Look out for our U3A logo on the table. Daventry U3A has a Car Share scheme to help with transport to and from the ly meetings. If you are interested in offering a lift please come and speak with us at the information table at the meeting or contact a committee member. If you would like a lift please ring Lynda on Cybercrime There has been a very good response to the proposal of a talk on this subject. We will make arrangements so watch this space! Days Out and Theatre Trips War Horse September 26th. The DACT bus will be leaving the Community Centre car park at 1. Everyone who has booked has their tickets. If you can t make it, please let us know as we may be able to re-sell the ticket. The Kew Garden visit on November 29 th is fully booked and there is a waiting list. Jill & Jenny
