1 ESAM Design (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Modernes), a private institution for technical higher education, has put all its effort into training students, whether young or mature adults, for over sixty years. Within a friendly environment of mutual partnership, the school offers an education in the essential methods used in the professional world and a place where students full creative and academic potential can flourish. After a Foundation Year, during which students become familiar with the world of Applied Arts, students opt for a 3 or 5 year course to learn about the diverse aspects of Visual Communications or Interior Design. The key word creativity links all their future careers. 2 STUDIES OF INTERIOR DESIGN The Interior Design course leads to professions concerned with improving the quality of living conditions and maintaining a sustainable environment. At the end of the 3 rd Year, a student acquires the Bachelor in Interior Design by obtaining a pass mark given in each subject and by the final jury. During the 5 th Year, a final year of further study in the subject of the diploma, students research and produce a personal design project in either Commercial or Interior Design, finalizing their past 4 years of study. This is presented before a jury made up of professionals in the field of design, to obtain the Certificate in Interior Design, Level II in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP). Before beginning your studies as an exchange student at ESAM design you are required to have level B1 (according to the «Common European Framework of Reference for Languages»).

4 STUDIES Studies OF of GRAPHIC Interior design DESIGN The Graphic Design course leads to professions concerned with creativity and communication through images and text. At the end of the 3 rd Year, a student acquires a Bachelor in Graphic design by obtaining a pass mark given in each subject and by the final jury. During the 5 th Year, a final year of further study in the subject of the diploma, students research and produce a personal graphic design project. The students participate also in true advertising campaigns. A jury made up of professionals in the field of graphic design and advertisting to obtain the Certificate of Art Director, Level I in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP).
